Just had my nipples done at 2.4mm and so far, haven't caught them on anything.

I wouldn't call it "funky," really. It kind of looked like a zit on my chest for a while, but it seems to be looking better with time. Now it sort of just blends in with all of my many freckles.

Cartilage is a bitch to heal. I made the mistake of getting three cartilage piercings done at once on one of my ears and each one alternated from 'not swollen and alright' to 'red and puffy and painful', like blinking Christmas lights, for a long time. Even now they give me trouble.

And to clear this up, I have never caught my nipple on anything. It's through the careless mistakes of others that I feel such pain! I'm glad you haven't had such issues.

When I was young (12 or 13) my mom didn't care if I got my ear pierced, but my dad thought since I was a guy I shouldn't get it pierced. 0.o
So I had my sister do it. Just a normal stud. My mom saw later that day and thought it was funny. My dad was a bit mad, but just said to keep it clean.

Several days later I was pissed off at my dad, so I thought it would be funny as shit to pierce it again. Plus I thought it looked a bit plain with just a stud. So I pierced it again towards the side of the ear. Neither of them really cared, but my mom thought it was gross, and my dad was a bit annoyed.

I did a third piercing on the same ear several months later.

Recently I bought a lot more jewellery, and stretched the 2 bottom piercings to 10 (not at once)
One's a flesh tunnel, and the others a choker with vertebrate on it.
Then theres a normal stud on the third one.

I used to have two 14 ga long talons that I loved. But I lost both. I think the company'll replace them though.
I'm gunna pierce the other ear to match my ear one day, but I just let my newer piercing on the other ear close up, because I lost the talon.

When I get the talons back I'm probably going to let the bottom piercing shrink to a 14, and put in the talon. Then put the tunnel in the middle, and the choker on top.
And probably match it with the same on the other ear.

One day I might go back to how it is now but in both ears, and get snakebites with the talons.

Everything I did was by myself, except the first which was by my sis. I used to use a sterilized pin, but now I have a 14 ga piercing needle.
If I get snakebites I'll have it done professionally, but ear piercings will be fine if you do them yourself.

I agree, nice nips Malice. I'm not sure how good of an idea big rings are though, as you said yourself some cunt pulled on them. It's a sad state of affairs that they look so awesome, yet can cause so much agony.

I just got my second tattoo done. It's the Operation Ivy dude with "as one, stand together" around him. Got it done in the artists basement XD I was impressed with the sanitation, and professionalism of the basement though. No hep for me!

In all seriousness it was very professional, clean needles and w/e the fuck the needle-holder-thingie is called, machine and cables in that blue med-plastic stuff.

The way I see it, if it's going to kill me, well that'll suck, but there's not much I can do about it now. Wish it would heal faster though, it fuckin itches right now.

Yeah the rings aren't what was originally gonna go in.
My piercer ordered two plastic bars at 2.4mm to go in but the company sent the wrong ones and they wouldn't fit, so after much pain and tapering he put the rings in.

Tbh, the fact I had big rings in didn't have anything to do with it being grabbed, he didn't grab the ring itself, more like the flesh around it.
Anyway I'm putting the sweet plastic bars in soon once they've healed and can handle an eensy stretch.

I currently have 16 tattoos (that's if you count a half sleeve as one piece) and 33 piercings. Most of my piercings are in my ears: 5/8" lobes, industrials (standard in my right, vertical in my left), both tragus, rooks, snugs, anti-tragus, conch, helixes, etc. pretty much any ear piecing possible is in at least one of them. In addition to my ears I have 3 piercings in my lip, left nostril, tongue (4g, was a 2g at one point), navel, and both nipples are pierced twice (vertical and horizontal).

My birthday is in August and I'd like to have both half sleeves done by then.

Aside from several tattoos (Ill get pics on eventually) and several piercings (4g conch, both eyebrows, PA, industrial, septum, snakebites...all of which I dont have anymore....damn army regualtions....) my favorite story goes something like this:

Was bullshitting at the local tattoos shop.
We all went out and got hammered.
Went back to shop to pass out in basement (we had a flip-n-fuck down there).
Woke up with kanji on my left calf.
Was told it said "I like big dicks".
2 and a half years later I learn it says 'Death before Dishonor'.

Moral of story: Fuck bottom shelf vodka

You can't really see through it. Basicly just a normal plug. It was originally intended to not be worn much, only really when I don't wear the choker. But I ended up piercing it with a second 10 ga. So now I wear it all the time.
I think it looks alright, though. It was either that or a standard plug, but thats no fun.
