New Blood from Hillsboro,OR
I'm Oso a 37 yo misfit from Hillsboro , OR USA . I'll start with the questions below.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job) Read , listen to music & play RPGs n' such. I do landscaping. Yes I know 'oh so not Goth' , but it's a job.
2. Where are you from? Hillsboro, OR a suburb west of Portland,OR da Rose City.
3. Who is your favorite author? Alot but currently Patricia Briggs , over all H.P. Lovecraft.
4. What are your favorite films? LOL Akira , Ninja Scroll , the Underworld series , Resident Evil series , LOTR , Mad Max trilogy , Saw series , Vampire Hunter D , Blood the Last Vampire , Doomsday , 28 days later , 28 weeks later , 30 days of Night , most Tim Burton movies ect...
5. What music do you want played at your wedding? A mix of Gypsy folk , Gothic/Electro , Punk & Metal.
6. At your funeral? Gypsy or a cool Doom Metal funeral dirge .
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? Getting laid by a sexy Gothic or Punk chica.
8. What kind of casket would you want? Classic wooden one but painted black with a crimsom satin interior.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? Punked out BDUs & my docs n' a dark red shirt or band T-shirt.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? Being able to do shit & not get introuble for it too badly & belive in Fey n' such.
11. What's your favorite band? Goth: Bauhaus, Deathrock: Astrovamps , Punk: Anti-Heroes (Oi!) , Misfits (Danzig era) & Cooters (Crust ?) ; Metal: Dark Tranquility (Death) , Wastelander (Thrash) & early Bathory ; Psychobilly: Livends , Electro-Industrial : :wumpscut: & Alien Vampires.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

13. Why did you join? I want to meet other like minded people & find out about some cool Goth or Deathrock bands I have yet to check out.

I have friends that say living in Portland is very cool. I think the culture's probably great, but I don't think I could take the climate. I'm definitely subject to Seasonal Affective Disorder, so overcast skies for lengths of times hit me hard.
Patricia Briggs, eh? Not bad. Ninja Scroll is really not appreciated enough. In fact, I lost my VHS tape a long time ago and you've reminded me I need to replace it on DVD soon. Thanks.

I know what you mean... I hate the depressions I get every Winter gah! But during the summer it's real good. If I had the money I'd live in the Bay Area or SoCal during Winter & Portland during the summer.

I am so jealous... I would love to live in OR...
I'm a fan of gardening... I know, I know its not really landscaping.. but still it has to do with plants..  Welcome.
