DarkStalkers 3. Now that's old-school.
If you like fighting games, you're gonna love this.

Well, If you play a horror campaign, Dungeons and Dragons can be pretty goth .
and Shadowrun is set in a Cyperpunk setting.

Castlevania
I think the Castlevania games are cool goth games. You get to kill Dracula and his undead minions. You get to use holy water and crosses as weapons. The castle is badass and the music is great.

- Castlevania (especially Symphony of the Night)
- Fable 2 (there's actually an achievement for becoming "goth")
- Death Jr. (very Tim Burton-ish)
- The Legacy of Kain series (Blood Omen, Soul Reaver, etc.)
- Brutal Legend (upcoming heavy metal game but it supposedly has goths in it, although this may be in a more mocking manner)

My list probably sucks compared to most people but here's my list...
House of the Dead series
Resident Evil series
Prototype (just because of Alex's dark personality and his actions.)
Bioshock series (only because it's a horror/shooter series)
The Sims is known to be played by tons of goths so I guess it COULD have gothic themes.
Dead Space series
And I heard that they're making a videogame for themovie 'SAW' so Pperhaps that could be considered gothic.

Oh, definately The Path. One of the characters really sounds like she posts here:
"The other girls call her "goth"... It's one way of killing people: stereotyping them, putting them in a box and throwing it away. But there's more to Ruby than meets the eye. A young lady by now, 15 years of age. Life has opened up to her as a rotting flower of corruption. She can see through it all but remains an enigma herself.
When asked about her leg brace, Ruby says she's in pain. But doesn't specify where it hurts.
Ruby does not long for death. She takes a perverse pleasure in observing the extreme decay of adult society. But what will happen when she ceases to be a witness and becomes a participant instead?"
You can feel the angst bleed through the screen at times.

Diablo all the way.
Despite being ancient and simple hack'n'slash, I loved it all the way through.
I can't wait for Diablo 3.

There's also a flash game where you play a gothy girl... I can't remember the name but it was a more recent game. I'll post it here once I find out.

Deus Ex (Excellent Cyberpunk atmosphere)
System Shock 2 (Cyberpunk survival horror.)
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines (lots of vampires)
Blood Omen (Ability to telepathically suck blood)
Dungeon Keeper (You keep a freaking Dungeon)
The Hitman series (cold blooded killing.)
Shadow of The Colossus (creepy, haunting, surreal romantic atmosphere.)
Lemmings (mass suicide.)
Okay, too tired to think of more. Someone else please continue.

I'm with you on the Shadow of the Colossus. That game kept me addicted to jump on hard. Such an fascinating story line/gameplay.
The Silent Hill Series dark atmosphere and gore really does jump in this category.
Then Castlevania fits in with it's dark clothing/visuals and castles.
Also if you've played some of the Twisted Metal games they somewhat/do fit into the category.

Destroy All Humans is the MAD NOTE.
I vote for Atmosfear or Grim Fandango.

Anyone remember the ill-fated, short lived Thrill Kill? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrill_Kill
I have to agree with SotC and what looks promising with The Last Guardian, and American Mcgee's: Alice. The Silent Hill and Resident Evil series (for atmosphere).
As for alot of the other games here, I can't say. Haven't played them.
