I recently discovered the joy of outlet shopping. I've been looking for a new laptop ever since I had to sell off my macbook pro last summer. I just sealed the deal on a new thinkpad.

OK, so I'm not all that thrilled about Vista, and a nicer screen (LCD backlight) would have been cool, but otherwise it is hard to find a new laptop with these features at that kind of price point. It takes a little digging, but you might find something cool.
