My guinea pig is very ill. The vet has given me Baytril to give him but I think it might not work. I may have to have him put down because if this dosn't improve he seriously can't go on like he is.

He was fine 2 days ago, then I came home to uneaten food (UNHEARD OF) and he was up the corner with a huge lump of shit stuck in his arse, hunched up and generally looking miserable.

I had to gently rinse and squeeze the shit out, I syringed him some water in case he hadnt had any ( he looked like he'd been there all day ) and took him to the vet. Vet reckons it's enteritis. I've been giving him the baytril but he seems to now be developing some sort of paralysis. He's always had one wonky leg as he was born like it. But now one of his front legs seems seized up, and he seems to have trouble lifting his head. I'm going to keep massaging it and giving him the baytril until I've completed the dose as the vet prescribed.

I'm really not hopeful here . My poor pig

Pig died. I got up this morning and he seemed worse frozen down one side and jerking to try and get up. Refused water, just let it dribble bck out . I decided to have him put down because I couldn't bear to see him struggle . He died before we could take him. Buried him under the lawn. He loved grass so it's ideal to put him there.

Do? Nothing. O.o

My brother has recently got some chickens, and also bought some young chicks. But the larger birds have been picking on them, so he's had pigs hutch to keep them in and keep them separate for a while. It has a wee door on the side, so he can build them their own little run to go in and out until they're larger.

I'm keeping Titus' (rabbit) old hutch. It's still solid and good despite being 10 years old and it cost me a fair bit . I might consider getting another rabbit next year. Possibly another mini rex, or a Netherland dwarf.

I just made my first cup of hot coco since March and sadly learned that Jake finished off the whipped cream earlier today. Still yummy hot coco but it would have been so much better.

My wisdom tooth is being a jerk, and now I have an abscess in my gum next to it. Luckily I had a doctors appointment this morning for my possible nasal infection, but my gums are still being painful.

I've been overly aware of my own lungs lately. Too bad I live so far from the sea.

Yes, but possibly due to playing it over again for about 5 hours last night. This is not conducive behaviour for getting over a break up.

DAMN IT. I NEED VODKA, ANGRY SEX AND PIERCINGS!.

*That* is how one get's over a break up. :|

Earlier today I moved a bunch of furniture on my own, it didn't hurt at the time but now I'm all sore an achy, the worse part is that I moved some of the bookcases and now I'm too sore and completely unmotivated to put everything back on them so I have a pile of stuff looking at me but I just can muster enough of a fuck to give.

Ibuprofen, a cup of tea and a bubble bath.

And the universe is constantly expanding, which means that putting the stuff back on the shelves is a waste of time because it will just end up moving off the shelves again.

While it is true that this movement will probably take an eternity if left up to the individual atoms to move themselves away from each other.. just think of it as giving the universe a helping hand.

I just made the most amazing buttercream frosting but the cupcakes I made it for ended up being gross. Fucking cake mix, I am never buying cake mix again, the only brands that don't contain all sorts of horrid stuff seem to be made for people who have never tasted a normal cake, only some weird health food version of cake.

Also boo to the Target in Seaside, the only kind of cocoa powder that they carry is Hershey's, every other Target I have ever been to has at least a couple and usually one of them is organic or fair trade but not that one so I had to go to Whole Foods and pay twice as much. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking Whole Foods, they do have some good deals especially on bulk items and their prepared food, but most of the normal stuff is marked way up...and I just now realized I probably could have gotten some for a lot less at Trader Joes but I almost never think of them because they are downtown but really they aren't any farther than Whole Foods, there are just more turns. Oh well cocoa powder isn't exactly super expensive no matter where you go so here I am bitching about paying an extra few dollars.

Fifty-six years old and now my wisdom teeth decide to erupt.
Monday I see an oral surgeon for evaluation to get them extracted.
Might as well make the best of it: I am going to ask if I can get copies of the video or at least a few photos with my mouth all bloody. I am also asking for the X-Rays, or copies so I can frame my skull.

I have photos from Mrs. Humane's back surgery when they installed plates to fuse her vertebrae, and also of her similar surgery on her neck bones. Maybe I'll post them in the Picture Thread.

HP sucks about the wisdom teeth hope you get to feeling better soon. At least you'll get some awesome pics out of it.

Acharis, no.. just shitty being young with old parents who had a fuck-ton of kids and didn't give a fuck about any one's education at all.

BTW does any one take cracked articles seriously? I have yet to read one that is anything close to intelligent.
