Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Band of Horses is really good. I can't dig Rilo Kiley too much, she sounds too much like a little girl.
Did you know Jenny Lewis used to be an actress?
Last one I bought:

Camouflage ~ Voices and Images
They seem like one of too many eighties bands that put out one amazing track did not take time to record quality music. You see, this is why I don't actually "listen" to a lot of bands. I wanted to hear something besides "The Great Commandment." Teeheee, I only bought it 'cause it was on clearance at Half Price Books.
And oh gawd, why are they still allowed to record albums?

Well, technically, it's a single, but...
"No Time to Cry" 12" - The Sisters of Mercy
It was only a toonie!

Siouxsie's Mantaray solo disc.
Had it for a few months now.
Have played it only twice this whole time.
The first 2 songs are pretty damn good. Everything afterwards just didn't do too much for me.

Rudimentary Peni's "Pope Adrian 37th Psychristiatric". I'm still waiting for it to come in the mail.
The whole album was written while Blinko was hospitalized in a mental health clinic.

Here's some real stuff.
THE NO WTO COMBO- LIVE FROM THE BATTLE IN SEATTLE
DISCHARGE-HEAR NOTHING SEE NOTHING SAY NOTHING
DISCHARGE- NEVER AGAIN
DISCHARGE- STATE VIOLENCE STATE CONTROL
I already had 2 other DISCHARGE records, so I added more. Believe me the ones I had were warped because I played them so much.
