Been thinking about dying my hair again, probably black. I thought before I dyed it last time my hair was just going white from stress, and I plucked a lot of the white hairs too...but now they're back >.<

That's exactly why my husband is thinking of dyeing his hair, Saya : )
Of course, he may also need a little box of Just For Men for his rapidly greying goatee. We've never tried dyeing facial hair with regular hair dye, though a lot of friends have done it (with mixed results).

Well I finally got the call that my mother is once again connected to the rest of the world (there was a bit of a blizzard and we were waiting for the road and the driveway to be plowed) so I'll be leaving shortly to go home for about a week. I doubt I'll be on at all during that time as I will be busy with family stuff and, well, her internet connection is pretty damn slow so most of the time I don't bother with it.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

There is no question that each of our candles will burn out in too short a time. We can only hope it burns as brightly as possible while we have the time to shine.

Too bad you're so self-centered and clueless. Most people find sharing happiness is the point of all that "commotion".

I have no problem with sharing happiness but Jin's social calendar does look quite packed. All that socializing would even wear me out =(

Hey Jin- who is all the partying with? Have fun and be safe sweetie.

Just got back from party number one. It was tons of fun but there just way too many people there that I didn't know. And thanks carakitty! The one I just got back from was with my moms family... then tomorrow I have one with my boyfriends side of the family and another for work. Then on actual christmas day I have one with my immediate family. And another with my stepdads side of the family after christmas. Presents wore me out...and just having to drive back and forth is a pain.

Ben. I work all day, and I even have to work on christmas eve. I'm exhausted and all the parties I have are at night. It's tiring. I DO enjoy seeing my family though.

Well at least you know most of the people. Family relationships can be tiring but at least you know them, you know?

What I hate are the parties for my husbands work. He's not into social interaction so we really don't get together with anyone usually aside from the once or twice a year 'mandatory' things and trying to think of things to say to people who you probably wouldn't know from "Jack" is what really takes the wind out of you. Thankfully we got his holiday party out of the way last week (I think). The DJ fucking sucked and the other people at our table went off on their own little cliques, socializing with people at other tables and playing the silly little games.

The highlights of the night were bitching via facebook status updates on text message, the table of drunk guys behind us, and walking in to the kids party at the end of the night to find our daughter stuffing her face full of chocolates like a hamster looking the apocalypse in the face!

Oh, and as for my social life I kind of don't have one right now. When my baby bat was younger we had a close knit play group and would get together with them lots but now with the move to a different state and her in school so much I haven't really connected with our new playgroup that much in person. They didn't host a Christmas Party (well Holiday- lots of them are Pagan) like our other group usually would. I guess maybe when i get in Vet Tech school maybe there will be parties for that and probably once I start interning my work will have one.

Vin, many people would love to have that many social events to attend this time of year, busy with employment or not. Since you clearly do not HAVE to attend all those events and can choose not to go to some of them if they're too "tiring", the only point of that post was to brag about how popular you are.

Ben, obviously the only reason why you are even giving a fuck about what I write is because you are still fucking pissed that I hurt your 'man feelings'.

And why would me saying that I have a bunch of FAMILY parties be an attempt at looking popular, moron?

What?!?! Bwah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah!

Like you could hurt my feelings, princess.

I'm not wrong in pointing out that the bulk of your posts are about pointing out how "fabulous" you are and preening for attention. I'm not saying you're alone here in doing this; lord knows most posters here are guilty of it from time to time. I'm just saying you excel at it.

I'm not posting out of anger. I don't have any kind of hurt feelings, "man type" or otherwise. *snort*

I'm just calling a spade a spade.

Well darling, if I was really looking for attention, don't you think I would have used something more flashy than family christmas parties???

I've been car shopping . 3200€ later, Joe now owns a VW Corrado 1.8 L G60. It has 215 Hp. We took it out for a spin and holy fucking shit is it fast. 0 - 100 in a mind splitting 4 seconds. We only got her up to 267 kmh. But I'm sure we can get more out.
