Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

See, I ENJOY slap, but I really like the warm mellow sound that you get in those early 60s Brit songs. Give me a flatwound, and a felt pick, and I am happy.

I have a few keyboards which include a Roland E-70 synth (beautiful piano sound), Korg i3 interactive workstation (has some really nice sounds), and a Roland RS09 Organ/Strings (from the late 70`s, you can hear this model on The Cure song `Just Like Heaven`, it is an old analogue synth that specialises in organ and string sounds and can make some amazing sounds as its totally manual) !!!.
One day when I would love to have one of those Moog synths that you hear on the Rick Wakeman albums and Jeff Waynes `War of the Worlds` album !!!.
I was wondering if anyone has used a Moog Taurus pedal (a synth you can play with your feet as you play guitar, used by artists such as Rush, and Yngwie Malmsteen) ?

I play bass, but not as much as I should. Hopefully when my friend moves back up here when school starts, he and I, as well as my girlfriend, will start a band. He plays electric violin.

I played the clarinet and guitar in highschool, and piano in primary school. Nowadays I still pick up the guitar every now and then (I got a Fender Jaguar for my birthday during the height of my guitar playing), and also play quite a bit of keyboard.
I'd really like to learn the bass sometime, mostly just because there are barely any bass players around here and I'm really hoping to form some sort of band in the near future.

I play guitar and lately I started with 7-string and bass.
I'm not good playing these, but I like also drums, keyboard, violin & various strings, choirs ect...
Anyway I spend my time mainly in songwriting.

You can connect it to the PC, plugging a minijack addon to the jack and into the mic slot. Of course then you should setup the control volumes in windows...

Ugh... I would not suggest this as it is a shaky business if your speakers cannot handle low end frequencies.

I play alto saxophone, though I don't play much anymore. I'm hoping to order a ocarina sometime soon, I think both a sweet potato one and a small round one too. I really like the sound of them.

I play Bass and Guitar, but i'm horrible at drums and piano But I OWN Cliff Burton on bass...or not. I can play some parts of Kreator - Violent Revolution and Cradle Of Filth - Foetus Of A New Day Kicking on guitar.
