Novels can be fun

Lately I been ready the Wheel of Time series of books by Robert Jordan. If you got nothing else going on and want to read something Fantasy they would be it. Each book is around 700-900 pages long so they will keep you preoccupied for a while. So far there's 10 plus a prequal that just came out a few months ago. Personaly I'm into Fantasy and the like, but I know that not everyone is.

Where's horror on the list?

I love short fiction, with horror and fantasy being my favorites. I really like cross genre stories.

The Wheel of Times books do get quite bad as the series goes on. I read one of the earlier books and it wasn't that bad. I read one of the books later in the series and I got mad because the book didn't have any plot at all. It was ridiculous.

And for the answer to the poll, I read sci fi, fantasy, horror, true crime, psychology, sciology, sexual deviance, diseases, and drugs among other things.

I liked the Sweep series by Kate Tiernan...though the image they portrayed of the "goth" girl raven was funny...kind of a rebelling little rich girl. But I like most books. Especially Dick and Jane.

I like novels like " Sweet dream baby" (don't remember the autor :? ) or "Mi planta de naranja-lima" Jose Mauro de Vasconcelos. Those 2 novels were good.

*sigh*

Once again, Horror is relegated to the roll of the ugly, unwanted step-child.

no, we lurk in the shadows, just out of sight, plotting wicked things.

It's all in how you look at it.
