Don't beat yourself up too hard. I liked you as Wormboy. Oh. This is supposed to be a rant thread. My bad. (I have a headache. Does that count?).

BTW SweetJane, I'm glad things went well for you. (Had a similar reaction to an SSRI -- citalopram -- which my doc put me on for insomnia. As you can see, I decided I'd rather have the insomnia than the side effects from the SSRI). At any rate, good luck.

My lawyer was already set to plead not guilty, and after talking to the prosecutioner, they're not going to charge me with reckless driving, and when I go to court again they're going to charge me with a milder misdemeanor.

The judge also wouldn't preside over the case because he was my catechism teacher, and I found out the accident was in his daughter's back yard haha

I really don't want to take any action against my general practitioner- to be fair, I should have been seeing a shrink for my problems a long time ago. I understand that general practitioners aren't trained to deal with psychelogical issues now, and I should have taken a step back to moniter my behavior when I heard the word "SSRI", because I had similar effects while on lexapro, just not as intense. I mean, I could, but I really wouldn't unless I was being threatened with jail time, which I'm not anymore (thankfully).

Thanks again, guys.
Thank you for sharing, Sweetie! I'm glad things went well - considering!

I'm only here for my sisters birthday, then I'm buggering off again. I went to X-trax, but left shortly after due to a severe lack of money.

That sucks.

I have a cold for two days now and haven't been to work, but I absolutely have to go tomorrow cause there are things to do, and I HATE the idea of getting out of the house, especially when I'm sneezing and blowing my nose all the time.

This right here is a problem that I have with many GPs, they either need to learn enough to be able to competently prescribe such meds or they need to not prescribe them. GPs diagnosing and prescribing meds for conditions that they are not really trained to handle can cause some serious problems. Honestly most GPs have gained their knowledge of psychological conditions from looking shit up on the internet, please go to someone who actually knows what they are doing, I have seen a lot of people needlessly suffer with disorders for years only to find out that they had been misdiagnosed or that their GP was unaware of a treatment option that was ideal for them.

That sounds more like a post that should go in the "What's made your day?" thread ; )

You're back! I told you I'd wait for you!

Even if you don't want to sue him you could use it as a defense for yourself in court. Glad they're going for a lesser charge, and hopefully they'll drop it altogether.

I've actually lost every shred of self esteem I used to have in the space of a week. I don't get it, I felt fine for ages and now I'm back to "I'm fat and disgusting, I'm stupid and devoid of use to anyone, someone kill me".

I don't know whether this state of mind has any truth to it or not and I am desperately attempting to be logical and failing miserably at it. It's definitely not logical to find ways to justify my negative state of mind, pffft! I don't know what to do apart from shut up because no one wants to hear my pathetic whining.

I've added you to my sketch book. If someone 'kills' you, I will be left with an unfinished sketch. It's okay if you whine. I can still draw you.

So long as it's something and not someone. When I was younger, a certain friend of mine thought it was amusing to put lighter fuel on people when they had their backs to them and then setting it alight.

I don't think I've been able to take my shirt off faster than when I knew it was on fire.

cleaning is not a bad thing.
clean house = non cluttered mind.
you are able to think and work better in a clean/uncluttered environment.
