Strange Reasons for watching films

So today I finally decided to watch Silence of the Lambs. My reason?

For the past 12 hours maybe, I've been taking some time for Nostalgia, and as part of that I've been reviewing Mr Roger's neighborhood, or more specifically, all the other people who were on the show at one point or another. One of the more regular faces on Mr Roger's neighborhood was Neighbor Aber, aka Chuck Aber(Real name), aka Agent Terry in Silence of the Lambs. He wasn't the only one either, there was Chef Brockett, aka Don Brockett, aka nameless friendly Psychopath in cell(according to IMDB)

Kind of interesting really seeing such childhood characters, in such opposite roles. Lady Aberlin, aka Betty Aberlin, was in "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" and "Dogma". Keith David, was... well he's more famous for his work outside of Mr Rogers, but he actually had a Role early in his career on Mr Rogers for 2 years.

But anyways, what strange reasons have some of you had for watching some movies.

I dunno, Renatus, that just sounds like actors getting other kinds of work. I've seen similar stories about people who were once on Sesame Street or The Electric Company being in suspense, action, sci-fi and horror films. It's just people working their craft.

I've watched "The Blues Brothers" a few more times than I would have otherwise (I like it okay, but it's not a go-to comedy for me) because I always try to pick out the Chicago and Milwaukee locations (the stomping grounds of my earlier years) where the film was shot.

I don't know if there are really 'strange' reasons for watching films. We all watch them for different reasons. I got drunk one time and adlibbed a bunch of lines watching Evil Dead 2 with some friends. That was fun.

Sounds like fun. Me and 2 of my buddies got drunk once and filmed an alt trailer for the movie Commando. Well, it was supposed to be an alt trailer, but ended up being the movie inside of six minutes in my friend Brandon's house. I got to be Bennett, which was all kinds of awesome, and we did the showdown in the kitchen. Everybody disputed my claims to have nailed the accent; to this day, I suspect them all of the kind of burning jealousy that can destroy lives.

Thought would be fun, but I always look like an idiot on video.
