Daria

OK, so I searched and there isn't a thread dedicated to Daria, Jane and her ship of fools as she tries to sail steadily through the stormy seas of Lawndale.

I GOT THE COMPLETE SET TODAY! WOO HOO!
I laughed for hours, God I love that show! And I only watched the first DVD! Seven more to go! 1,586 minutes of MTV's best creation.

I haven't gotten the set yet but I used to love Daria. Mom thought it was a bad influence because I was snarky enough before I started watching it XD

Daria may have had an influence on my perception of women, growing up. >.> It cracks me up how everyone is a stereo type.

I loved Daria so much when I was about 13. The show kinda gave me hope that not everyone was a complete dickhead.

Watching this is definitely something I miss about being a little kid.

Some of my favorite Daria qoutes:
" I don't like kids. I didn't even like kids when I was a kid"
"That's the road to happiness and personal satisfaction. That's why they don't want you to take it"
" I'm not much for public speaking. Or much for speaking. Or, come to think of it, much for the public"

Daria is quite possibly my favorite show of all time. I pre-ordered the official set when it first came out, but had access to the unofficial for a very long time. It kept me sane until this release. Amazing show, even though I am far removed from high school.

I wouldn't go that far, Aeon Flux and the Maxx seemed better to me, but yeah, Daria was a really great show.

I have it on DVD too. I watched it all over the course of a couple days, so funny. Especially Daria's dad, he always cracks me up.

It was a real flash back to my childhood.

I wish I had the DVD. Never got the chance to watch it on TV, so my only choice was to download it in a sometimes awful quality. Still totally worth it.
