I don''t know the day, but I will know when it is near , even at the door, I never said I knew the day, I just know that the bible says we are in the generation that it will happen in, which is what the parable of the fig tree is about, the generation that sees that will not die, until all things be fulfilled , and what book are you referring to ? also Jesus is God, and he puts in the fathers hand somethings , I don't pretend to know the day like some false teachers would say, when did I ever say I knew the day? and my user name is what I use to be just a name that use to be me before I turned to Jesus

I don't have knowledge over the angels and Jesus, I say I don't know what day but the bible which is my book I follow , says that we will know when it is near, even at the door , all I am saying is that Jesus is coming back soon, did I ever give a date to when he was coming back ?

matthew is not being literal when he speaks of the day and hour, he is saying only god the father knows when, not you.
also every generation has claimed that their generation was the last one. they have all "seen the signs" so what makes you so special? huh? how do you know this is the generation? that sounds like predicting the future to me buddy which means one of two things. either you are a prophet or a false prophet. slippery slope my friend. so which are you?

I'm a evangelist, and a witness, not a prophet, but I understand prophecy, and the fig tree is Israel in Matthew , and the generation that sees the fig tree blossom which means become a nation will not pass away until all things be fulfilled and that happened in 1948, so the generation maybe a 83 year average mean generation or a hundred and 20 year generation from that time in 1948, will not pass away, but if you look at the shape the world is in, you know it is close, the bible says we will know when it is near , even at the door, I know I don't know the day though, but I do know it is very soon, within my life time if I live a normal life,

you know it is within your lifetime? seriously? that is the exact sort thing matthew was talking about. the bible already determines that human time means very little to jehovah. after all to him a day is a thousand years and a thousand years is a day. so if you stick to your book you should not attempt to predict the return of christ within a thousand years. so you applying a definite deadline is falling into one of three categories, speculation, prophecy, or false prophecy. you have NO OTHER choices so which is it?
the bible clearly states that you should not predict the 2cnd coming, but you should live as if it were tomorrow.
it is also widely believed that the generation being referred to is isreal the nation not the people themselve so it is thought the passage means that isreal will not fall as a nation before the end times. not an actual human generation.
also if we are so close, where is our one world currency Revelation 13:15-18
(and no, credit cards are not an acceptable answer). also where is our one global government? (also rev 13) and once again no NATO is not an acceptable answer. i want my antichrist dammit.
