That sounds amazing Ape ^_^

It could only be improved by actual icing on real cake.

I went to Michael's to pick up some yarn, and while there noticed they had signs that they were hiring a knitting and crochet instructor. I ran into my old supervisor and asked about it, and while they have a knitting instructor going through the certification process, they still need someone to teach crochet and she'd put me in for it if I can get certified. So looks like I need to get a few impressive items done

Why not look into it? Its going to be more of a budget boost than an actual career or anything, since its only a few classes a month, but I get like 90% of the tuition.

Saya, that's awesome! Hope it pans out for you.

Congrats Ape! I hope you guys last forever

What made my day was having a competent Microeconomics instructor. He engaged the class and actually made such a boring college subject not only interesting, but delightful to discuss.

VRA was repealed though, and surprise surprise it wasn't long for states to start introducing voter suppression laws.

Well I thought I flubbed my application for the crochet course I need to take, but I just got an email saying they'll take me!

It starting to seem like the combination of sounds I've had haunting me might actually not be completely derivative and I have the makings of a song on my hands.

Get to see my bestie finally get to have a domestic partnership with her SO. Still working for full equality, but this is still pretty awesome for CO. *happy tears*

Happy anniversary darling girl! What a wonderful way to 'celebrate'.

Mwah!

Mr Bat and I just recently celebrated our, um, er... holey crap! 14th year of being together.

My god, that man has patience!

That awkward moment when you realize that the thing that makes you a radical is nothing more than your desire for people to all have the same
rights as you, as you wish to have the same rights as others.

Then you want ribs.

Made my day -- seeing my pup run around the floor and chase his tail. Surprising how the simple things in life will do that.
