I'm not sure if anyone knows these guys, but no one I know around here knows them:
Deathstars (They're popular in Europe I know)
Deadstar Assembly

And does anyone know Devil Driver? A friend of mine was playing it in his car and singing along with them (most amazing thing I've ever heard o: ). I'm not sure if I actually like the band or not though. :/

If you want unkown yet energetic punk, then you must look into....

Die Toten Hosen

One of the most energetic and entertaining bands I've ever heard. Everyone from Germany knows them, but I dunno about the rest of Europe. Either way, I love them to bits. They sing about how to get out of depressing situations, 9 zombie deer coming back to life to devour their last living brother, how much they hate the southern german soccor team and many other meaningful things. And they can actually sing properly and comprehensibly live.

An old darkwave band that I haven't heard many people shouting their praises.....

Switchblade Symphony
Lovely music introduced to me by Happy Dude. Absolutely smashing stuff. Just don't listen to it before you go to bed in the dark. It even gave me shivers eventually.

That's enough for now.

Bis zum bitteren ende.

Oh, and Shadowplay, do you think you could give us an introduction to yourself? It would be nice to know you a bit.

DevilDriver is decent enough, but I've always been a bigger fan of Coal Chamber for better or worse.

Nice, but Switchblade Symphony is a somewhat popular band. I just downloaded one of their songs.

ok I got three, lots of people know of them no doubt but since I feel special I'm gonna bring them up. McFly. (More of a pop band, but good tune.) KillSwitch Engaged. (Heavy metal.) Also the horribly good Protest The Hero.

I've hard them as well, a while ago, and I felt as though they were over rated. My musical taste has changed plenty since then though, so I should probably check them out again.

I have a vast mixture of punk, metal and industrial.
A few faves: Kyuss, Shpongle, Crass, Conflict, and The Casualties. Since i live in the middle of freaking nowhere most people listen up here listen to Nickleback and that new crap.

Nickleback is so terribly bland to me. I find them so heart shatteringly boring. It's a shame that they've been on the charts for so long with such mediocre music.

Especially that whole...Pants around you feet song. Shut the fuck up. You're not making me blush.
Yes I know that's not the point. I'm in rare form...pay me no mind.

The Autumn Offering is a great Metal band from Florida. Anyone heard of them? They seem to be pretty obscure around here.

I'm not sure how popular they are, but I like them anyway. Dark Tranquillity, Agalloch, Futuristic Sex Robotz, and MC Hawking.

Good goth I just saw this ;-) I LOOOVE Naked and the Dead with Lorianne as well. Though I do credit Ghoulia for her effort and talent. I think they deserve a lot more credit for being a wonderful goth/deathrockl band. Ironically they've got their picture on the wiki article on our subculture. LoL...And as for Penis Flytrap, Dinah Cancer is a legend. They're a good band, quite outrageous, but I love 'em

The Golden Palominos? They're kind of darkwaveish. They're lineup has changed so much, though, that the style really varies. I like 'em a lot, anyway.
