You seem like this isn't something that you are comfortable with, if that is the case then simply say that it just isn't something that you would be interested in, your friend should understand after all if everyone involved isn't into having a threesome then it is going to a bad experience, even for the people who are interested.

If you are interested then make sure to talk about what is or isn't okay (digital, oral, vaginal, or anal sex, biting, spanking, clawing, restraints, whatever), this isn't to say that you need to set up a play book before hand but just make sure that everyone has a general idea of what to expect also be sure that everyone is okay giving to and receiving from both other people or else things are going to quickly get awkward. Have plenty of condoms and lube on hand, after all once you pull out of a hole you do need to change that condom if you are going to put your penis somewhere else. It is also a good idea to have some sex toys on hand (both for boys and girls) as there are three people who are involved but they aren't necessary.

I had a similar situation happen.

My boyfriend wasn't comfortable so I told the other guy no.
