That's for conformists. I am a none conformist, like the kids in Southpark.

That just doesn't make any sense. I'll ask you to use proper grammar and spelling, please.

Wow, there are some grumps on this site. Seriously, people... please realise that the internet is not going to run out of room any time soon so there is no reason to panic over the number of threads that someone makes. If you realise that you don't like the threads a particular person starts up, then might I suggest that you don't read them.

As for the proper grammar and spelling in the question that Tha Duckman asked... HE IS WRITING UPSIDE DOWN. I think we can forgive the grammar.

And once again I am confounded by that thing that you Americans call humor.

I think that there is more than just the 'u' missing.

Usually it's about as shallow as laughing at another's pain or misfortune, but by calling it humor it becomes more suitable for polite company, and cable TV.

Yeah, but people on this site have hassled newbies for making too many unnescassary threads, and it's unfair to flame their threads and not this one. =\ I don't care... but I mean members who have flamed n00bs for making too many threads can't be hypocrites.

I'm thinking about the day the internet runs out of room and we're all forced to submit new topics before a panel of judges before they can be posted. Lord help us all... Years from now, the internet will be hitting the almost full mark, with 75% of that being porn.

Actually I highly doubt the internet will ever be full, it may be infinite.

It's infinite. Every hour another server or computer gets connected to it. Every hour another harddrive gets replaced with one with atleast the double in storage capacity.

And this is with great exaggeration, the true number is not one computer but several. Maybe hundreds. Or thousands.

I work for a company that provides one third of the internet's disk storage, and one half of the tiny disk drives in the new cell phones that hold gigabytes of mp3s and phone pictures. There will not be any shortage of storage in the foreseeable future. I have just ONE customer alone that in just in their Iowa facility has a half petabyte of storage, and that doesn't include their C: drives (local drives).

Are they kept in a really big room, or do I just have a picture of some 1970's apocalyptic computer war film in my head?

Yes, actually they are in several buildings, entire floors and basements, a large room cannot hold them all. And they are replicated and distributed geographically, so that a local catastrophe will not lose the data.

If you're using Windows:

Go to Start.
Click on Run.
Type in CharMap.
Hit OK.

The font I was using is called Fixedsys Excelsior 2.00.
There's some interesting characters in that, like an ejaculating penis that I really wanted to post, but I'm afraid it'd be horribly inappropriate to post.

I'm not sure which font Tha Duckman used if he even did use his Character Map.
