Eight suspected Satanists have been arrested in Russia for allegedly stabbing to death and eating the body parts of four teenagers, reports claim.

The four victims were lured one by one to a country cottage in the region of Yaroslavl on the Volga River, a popular Russian tabloid said.

The teenagers were then stabbed "666 times" each, as part of a Satanic ritual, the daily said, quoting investigators.

The victims were allegedly forced to get drunk before being stabbed and dismembered.

Their killers then lit a bonfire under a tree near the cottage where they cooked and ate their victims' body parts, the report claimed.

Hair from the victims was apparently found in the embers of the bonfire.

The report also quoted interrogations with the suspects and said police had intercepted their phone calls following the killings.

The victims - three girls and one boy - were all aged between 16 and 17 and belonged to local "goth circles", a subculture that is very popular in provincial Russia, Komsomolskaya Pravda said.

This sort of shit makes me really, really angry. They´re not Satanists, they´re dumb idiots born without any working intelligence who, instead of being locked up somewhere, go and fucking ruin the lives of some inncoent families AND ruin the already bad image of MY faith. Keep in mind there are different brands of Satanism. While I don't personally follow either, there's LaVey satanism and there's anti-Christian Satanism. This appears to be a case of the latter as evidenced by the 666 thing. Besides, a LaVey-based satanic ritual would be far more likely to include sex or some other form of debauchery. Though most Satanists I've met have just been rebelling against Christianity...like that kid in high school who was a preacher's son and carried the Satanic Bible around just so he could "look cool" and piss his father off. The other kids gave him a hard time because he was really short...but I digress.

I was talking to this boy who was crushing on me who claimed he was so open minded.
Then I asked him if he'd be friends with a Satanist.

I personally don't believe in the concept of religion, but when an individual makes general and stereotypical assumptions, it irks me to the highest degree.

Most Satanist don't worship the devil or even do rituals. Satanism usually involves a person who believes that the only person/thing controlling their lives is them. They are their own deity. It usually does demoralize women but hell what doesn't these days?

I don't know a lot about satanism, so please don't flame me, but this is what puts a bad name on it. I think that it's terrible that people would go to that amount of extremity for a religion. I personally believe that there is a force that controls the universe (Star Wars flashback) but that we are responsible for our lives.

Yes sometimes I am a little illogical but I meant that we're responsible for the way our lives turn out, and I never said that the force was omnipotent or controlled our lives, just controls the way the universe works. You also should REALIZE that you have no room to critique the rest of us when even you have flaws.

But we change the universe. And I don't even mean in the sense that our being here is another integer, I mean that we're currently affecting the state of things beyond humanity, such as climate change. Twenty years ago they're screaming "Global cooling!" then they're all "Global warming!!! The poor polar bears!" now some people are starting to think global cooling again! It's because the climate is always changing! We've had ice ages and ages of extreme heat way before we had factories and cars, way before humans even had a developed enough brain to think about these things! Honestly, you need to stop putting words into people's mouths.

Also, maybe she's not from Europe, and maybe she doesn't know all the words we spell differently than you. American public schools don't think about you guys that much, unless we're learning world history, and even then we spend a lot more time on (adulterated) American History.

Also, she's only fifteen, if you look at her profile, how old are you? Trying to seem like you're smarter than her just makes you look even more like an idiot because she's barely into high school, and you are..?
