Are you all about serial killer movies?

I think it's weird of me because I study serial killers, and collect the movies, but it's not like I condone serial killing. I don;t understand my fascination.

I watched Hannibal the night before last, and True Romance (while that one doesn't count as much) last night.

Just 'cause you started a thread on Seven, I was wondering if we were kindred in this area.

Not really, the movies are all too predictable, save for a few.

It's a fascination because a lot of serial killers don't think like regular people. Serial killing is almost like a terrible and grisly art.

I have a strong fascination in psychology, and my best friend is majoring in it and she's taken a lot of classes that focus on serial killers (criminal psychology, etc.) and whatnot. I will minor in psychology, and I think it's fun to figure out how people think. You can easily figure out a person's strongest insecurities just by the way the speak.

I love Seven. That movie was a good example of what makes it so interesting.

What about Bone Collecter and Hannibal? The end of those ones shocked me!

I am not terribly intrigued so much by the killing as the mind of the serial killer, so I think you're right, I'm more intrigued by the sociopath.

I wish I had taken more psycology; I took a few courses in high school but that's it.

I don't remember bone collector and I barely remember Hannibal. Hannibal was ok, but I thought it wasn't realistic enough. Too movie-like.

I was signed up to take social psychology this semester, but it got canceled as there were only six of us. What a shame. I'm going to take human sexuality in a couple semesters as well. THAT is a fun class, I sat in on one of the sessions.
