but if i absolutely had to label myself i'd say i'm 'casual' goth.
by the way, one can't be slightly and majorly something at the same time. they contradict each other.

I'd say I qualify as a perky, "Hot Topic" goth. I'm generally a very hyper person, and I say "Hot Topic" because of the general look, though actually I usually get most of my stuff on Ebay. I don't try to go for any paticular look, I'm all about keeping it black and comfy. I also love accesories.

Uhm...I'm one who likes wearing black, listens to underground music, and has a penchant for images of bats, spiders, skulls, and Nosferatu. Also, I enjoy spooky movies.

I'm a bit of a diy-er, do some art, listen all sorts of music, I don't like religion, I am not terribly fond of pretentious assholes and I wear skirts alot. Whatever the namey thingy is for that....

No hon, when I say pretentious assholes, I mean pretentious assholes of any stripe. Though, I'm not a big fan of fundies. I couldn't care less if some one is a "preppy" or not I've met plenty of preppy kids that are intelligent, kind, caring and so on... so who gives a shit how they dress.

Being a "prep" isn't a religion, and religion has nothing to do with how "gawf" you are. [If that were the case, then Catholic priests would be the "gothiest" of us all. The clothes, the sombre music, the self-torturing attitude, the drama...]
And as someone else said, you can be a good person and be "prep", just like you can be a bad person and dress "goth".

Am I more or less goth when I get a boner? On the one hand, it's caused by blood, denoting I'm alive, which is totally not goth... but then blood sparks off the idea of vampires. And it's stiff...... but it's not cold.
