i am researching how gothic lit has changed throughout the years??

Hi,

Try a book called Nightmare by Christopher Frayling. It goes into the history of Frankenstein, Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, and Hound of the Baskervilles. It will give you a perspective on the era these and other classics were born in to and it will help set a benchmark for your comparisions.

Go on google.com and search for Gothic Literature. I'm sure they have resources out there on the web somewhere.
