I thought of the Weasley family too.
Anyhow, welcome Wieselkind.

You seem to like a lot of French authors; do you read their books in French, or do you read the translated versions?

Call it as you see fit. But remember, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". True beauty is not made of flesh and bone, but rather the depth of one's soul and mind.

Welcome, I looked at your photo and I really thought you were the cutest of them all!

Hurray!

And french easier then german? Are you kidding? French = blegh. German is ok, and it looks a lot like dutch, so that would make it more preferable for me anyway... :P

Ah well, dutch is a germanic language ( i wanted to study it but had to do history and literature instead) French grammar is less insane that german for my weedy English mind.

So is English and so is Yiddish. Germanic languages I mean. French confuses me, horribly. German you can understand or atleast get the basics enough to speak Germish. Even though that's not a language.

English is germanic, but closer to Dutch than german, also it has been highly influenced by French at quite deep levels, like syntax.
Denglish is a language, but a horrrible German Advertisers trying to be trendy one.
Germish is a fun word though, i must admit i refer to Germany as Germland sometimes, just for fun.
Also the scandinavian laguages are Gemanic, so my latest liguistic challenges is learning Swedish.
