Sleeping dilemma

Recently, I've been having a little trouble going to sleep at night. As a result of this; my grades are falling behind, my attitude has became shallow and intolerable, I constantly feel sick and depressed, and my life has begun to fall apart.
Does anyone have any ideas as how to solve this dilemma?

Yeah, I get insomnia quite a lot too.

Eat dinner early so you're not all full of energy in the middle of the night, switch off electrical appliances in your room, read before you go to sleep, try to cut down on caffeine, alcohol too, don't use the computer or watch TV in the half hour before you go to bed, don't have a bath or shower before bed cause it can wake you up....

That'll do

take a bath and drink a glass of warm milk before going to sleep .

on the randomness thread , they gave me good advice a month ago , and it was really helpfull
the problem would need a completly different approach if your insomnia were a symptom , not the main sickness .
good luck

A nice cup of kava tea really helps me out when I can't seem to fall asleep, it doesn't make you sleepy like chamomile but it will relax you (have much more than a cup though and it can make you a bit loopy) and I personally think it tastes a lot better. A cup of hot coco can also work nicely.
