That sounds fun. Hi K5's Mom.

Man, I've been thinking about fashion more lately and I should probably try harder in these pics, vids and stuff. I wanted to post something more Goth tonight, yet relying on photos around a month old, it is aesthetic, yet could be better.

They're not fruiting yet. I think its just overwatering. Its still pretty cool here so its really easy to overdo it. I had just realized with the wilting, that I had giving it the amount of water it will need here when it gets really hot.

I checked the leaves for blight and they look fine, the only thing that worries me is that the stems have darkened... which could indicate an infection.

Its been kind of rainy so the soil hasn't had a chance to dry out yet, but the plant seems to be doing better now that I've not been watering it as much.

Bwuhahaha!

My daughter got me Siouxsie and The Banshees 7 year itch tour DVD for an early Father's Day gift. I had never seen the Japanese frog backup singers before! (During the last song "Peek-a-boo") Gawd that was cute and entertaining!

Every time I watch Siouxsie I fall in love with that woman again. I will never forget her incredible performance at the House of Blues in February 2008. What a magical night.

From my fuzzy wuzzy memory, I think tomatoes can still show signs of overwatering when they fruit - from when you did it eons ago...

My ex-inlaws used to grow tomatoes commercially in glasshouses - they used to throw out perfectly good tomatoes because they couldn't be sold, and there'd be peopel at the tip collecting them - it was really quite stupid... these days they'd just take the stuff to a farmers market and sell them for a couple of $ a kg but back then it all had to be perfect fruit for the shops.

spent two hours hauling 20+kg concrete posts out of the creek - stupid ex-owners and their outdated attitudes towards creeks as garbage dumps.

This weekend I'm going to start putting in garden beds, and hopefully later this winter, I'll have a creek revegetation plan in place so I can clean out the creek - but I have to haul everything by hand up a ruddy steep hill.. Where's that football team when i need them?

So my physical was uneventful thank goodness. Except my cholesterol is still too high, 263, and I have to cut out the prime rib and filet mignons. Well...ok, and get some freakin exercise. But everything else is good. I might make it to 80 if I can knock off the animal fats.

It's been a nice day. My heart beat suddenly became really, really fast in less than a year. Kind of scary.

Humane - start eating porridge (rolled oats) for breakfast - helps cut cholestoral (sp?) and is good for you. My dad ate a lot of porridge, sardines and kippers and his levels were 2 (most people are around 5) - doctors were amazed that his hard drinking, bacon and egg full fat, smoking no exercise guy had such low levels.

Catch - go and see a doctor and cut the caffiene.

me - I'm a bleedin' idiot.. 3 hours sleep and i'm up for the day at 2am writing.. fuck that for a joke... fuck my determination or whatever stupid name it goes by... fuck everything, including the cat who decided to beat me up at 3am and is now asleep...that pisses me right off..

I made quite a bit of progress packing earlier today. I decided to reward myself with some wine and seem to have gone through the whole bottle in the last hour or so. Now I'm quite contentedly watching River Monsters, I think I could quite happily listed to Jeremy Wade talk all day long.
