Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Freakin' depressing song, Catch. Gorgeous, but depressing.
I woke up too early this morning, and ended up with If You Only Knew by Shinedown stuck in my head.

I go out to work on monday morning
Tuesday I go off to honeymoon
I'll be back again before it's time for sunnydown
I'll be lazing on a sunday afternoon
Bicycling on every wednesday evening
Thursday I go waltzing to the zoo
I come from london town
I'm just an ordinary guy
Fridays I go painting in the louvre
I'm bound to be proposing on a saturday night
I'll be lazing on a sunday lazing on a sunday
Lazing on a sunday afternoon

He was just 17 with no prospect for a future
Wasn't gonna live his life as another fucking loser
He ran to pick up his things and he walked out the door
He didn’t need his books today just a magnum .44
He's thinking about his family, he's thinking about his friends
He's thinking about a future that's loaded with dead ends
He's thinking about the beginning and he' thinking about the end
He's thinking about what happens after your dead
And as the sun climbs high in the mid American sky
He doesn’t want to live but he doesn’t want to die
He’s eyeing all the students he's eyeing all the cops
He's reaching for his pistol and suddenly he stops
If we fight just like them the war is never won
We're gonna have to learn compassion, gonna have to turn the gun
Turn the Gun - Evil Empire

I know a song that never ends and it goes like this. (and just repeat the line over and over again. Drives me insane).

If I were a carpenter
And you were a lady
Would you marry me anyway?
Would you have my baby?

Don't talk of love,
But I've heard the words before;
It's sleeping in my memory.
I won't disturb the slumber of feelings that have died.
If I never loved I never would have cried.
I am a rock,
I am an iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisland.

Black Betty by Ram Jam
Whoa, Black Betty (bam-A-lam)
Whoa, Black Betty (bam-A-lam)
Black Betty had a child (bam-A-lam)
The damn thing gone wild (bam-A-lam)
She said "I'm worrin' outta my mind" (bam-A-lam)
The damn thing gone blind (bam-A-lam)
I said whoa, Black Betty (bam-A-lam)
Whoa, Black Betty (bam-A-lam)
Yeah, I'm trying to get something to replace it, but it's stuck.
