Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Lately I really like the intro to Trophy.
Love in a Void and Happy House are great songs too.

"Spellbound" was the very first Siouxsie song I heard, and it was...spellbinding. It will probably always be my favorite Siouxsie song.

For me, my favorites would have to be "the killing jar", "rhapsody", "scarecrow", and "ornaments of gold". I just love the whole Peepshow album itself, but her other albums are great too.

Peek-a-boo, Cities in Dust, Dear Prudence, and Take Me Back are a few of my favorites.

"Peek-a-boo", clearly. "Spellbound" was also the first Siouxsie song I ever heard, and I'm also quite partial to "Face to Face" (I love how she purrs!).

Happy House, Peek-a-boo, Dear Prudence. I am a bit sick of Cities in Dust, though, as it seems like the only Siouxsie song the DJs play lately : ( Too bad, because it has been a favourite of mine for ages. Just too much of a good thing.

I dislike Siouxsie, a lot. But I like Cities in Dust.
I think Cities in Dust is that one song everyone likes even if they don't know dick about the band. Sort of like Bela Lugosi's Dead/She's In Parties, How Soon Is Now, and Lovesong with their respective artists.

I love all the songs I've heard thus far:
Cities in Dust
Pook a Boo
Hong Kong Garden
Kiss Them For Me
Dear Prudence
Spellbound
Yeah, so they're the most famous ones, but I love them & they're famous for a reason-they're all great! I remember years ago I bought a cool Siouxsie t-shirt but alas I got rid of it for some stupid reason I no longer remember. Been kicking myself for it lately...

Just to prove how un-goth I am...I'm going to admit that I have never heard a siouxsie song... I guess I should do that huh...

Slowdive.
I just realized that, come October, it will have been three years since I was REALLYYYY into Siouxsie, Bauhaus and...any goth music, really. I need to get back in the game.

I couldn't name just three. Some of my top favourite Siouxise songs are...Circle, Dazzle, Helter Skelter, Eve White Eve Black, Happy House, Hong Kong Garden, Christine, Dear Prudence, Israel, Kiss Them For Me, and Swimming Horses.
If I had to choose a favourite, I would say 'Circle'.
