Yeah, I'm new, but you already knew that.
Yes, so I'm a newbie. Hooray for the fresh meat.
I'm just here looking to meet some people who don't suck! I hope to have fun, and just get along with people. I don't like drama. I just wanna meet some like minded people.

You don't have to do the survey.
Just tell us a little more about yourself.

Yeah, I'm not to big on doin' the survey just yet. But let's see...stuff about myself? Hmm..
Well, to be perfectly honest I found this place because I used to have AWESOME short hair. I would dye it all kinds of colors, & different styles, & all that good stuff. I grew my hair out long because the keeper of my heart digs it long. Okay, seems simple enough.. but I have HORRIBLE hair. I'm not used to it any way other than short. So I came online looking for something to do with it. I searched for new hairstyles because I am tired of just plain long & black, and I wanted to spice things back up again. Feelin' like I like myself again, ya know? So I wound up here.
I LOVE the 80's! Trapped in them forever, I'm afraid. I am in my mid 20's but I don't believe in defining one's self by their age, so I don't just give it out. The only people who really need to know are my Doctor, and my Mother. I love music almost more than anything else on earth. I love make-up! I hope to learn many new fashion tips from people here, and perhaps share whatever info that I might have with others. I don't want to get married. I don't want kids. I like to cook. I love the Edwardian era. I love my friends, and being there for them. I love greek mythology. I love history. I like road trips. I love to go thrifting. I love going to rock shows. I can't dance, but would love to learn.
...that's all I can think of right now. I really don't know of anything interesting about myself, but I try.

HI! Well, I'm not quite into that survey because I can't quite answer most of the questions. Like, I don't want to get married, I don't read fiction, I don't care what happens to my body after I'm dead, I don't really watch movies....stuff like that. Besides, sometimes it's more fun to get to know each other slowly.
Thank you for the warm welcome!

No problem, your post above answers enough.
What sort of artist (music wise) do you listen too?

Slsk... I googled it and found "soulseek" - a file sharing thing. Nowww I get it.
But, seriously, the newb has awesome taste in music. The Kidneythieves... The Plasmatics... OMD... The Cars... New Order... all such fantastic artists, but few people seem to listen to them or fully appreciate them. Oh, and The Cure is the best band evah.
I'm glad you enjoyed the quote - yay for TMB!

I was just skimming through and I saw... Greek mythology! What do you love most about Greek mythology? Who's your favorite god or goddess? What's your favorite story?

Thank you, Green.Lady
Well thank ye! I like lots of other stuff too..but I felt the list would grow wayyyy to long if I kept going. Yeah. With most of those bands I first dug on their most famous hits, go buy the album with that song on it and then it grew from there.
I've never seen TMB, But I wanna.

First off, it's like a friggin' soap opear! Everyone is sleeping with someone else. Gods are cheating with humans.. it's drama. Also it's kind of interesting on a historical level. I like the story of Persephone, Icarus, Eros...It changes. Apollo and Daphne, as well as the stories listed above as they would be connected to there main character.

I know what you mean, except, I wouldn't compare it to a soap opera, maybe an action/romance/comedy/tragedy.(Did you know that Tragedia means "goat song" it's the original word tragedy was derived from)

Hmm, oh well. It looks like you do actually listen to some goth. Welcome!
By the way, you misspelled San Francisco.

You made my name green! Teehee...
Yeah, I just think it's awesome how you don't only listen to goth bands... variety is always good, IMO.
You should watch the show. It's hilarious.

he he he...YES I DID!
Well, the way I look at it is this....
If you label yourself, then try to keep everything you do in that one category then you deny yourself a bunch of other good experiences. Besides, labels belong on soup cans, not people. I would like to think what defines me is not as simple as what I listen to. But yes, as viscus so kindly pointed out, I do listen to some goth...I could have listed more goth bands that I only MILDLY like, but I'd rather not lie just to look cool.

My favourite greek story is Orpheus and Eurydice in the underworld. You seem sehr cool... I am also a fellow newbie, I'm always watching my spelling and punctuation in this place! I absolutely love Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, The Cure, The Smiths and Adam and the Ants. The 80's did indeed rule.
