I like a man who looks like a man, and muscles just imrpoves that whole romantic image of being held. Anyway, generally some amount of hard work goes into muscles be it intentional or not. No matter what I do just can't seem to build up my own muscles except in my legs, and most of them are just remnants from dance.

When you drop something on the floor and bend over to pick it up, then as you step away, step on your own hair. You know hair that long just isn't for you. I save a bundle on shampoo and conditioner too, and spend on a fraction on product.

I would recommend reading Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe with Lon Kilgore. There are a few different aspects of muscles, and what you do to them determines how they develop.

I think when you say you can't seem to build them up, you mean you can't really see a difference. That's because what you're looking for is more definition, which has nothing to do with strength. It's more of a fat to muscle ratio. I'll use myself as an example:



I have a lot of definition, but I am not very strong, relatively. That's just because I'm naturally a very skinny, small dude. I'm 155 cm tall and I only weight around 54.5 kg. It's only when moving weight as a percentage of my own body weight (instead of a specific, defined amount) that I really stand out among my peers.

No, I mean depsite all the exercise I'm still weak as ever, matters of definition aside. I'm able (or I was a few months back) to lift a wooden desk off the ground with my legs with ease but, arm wise I struggle with that, hell I struggle with a few kilos of shopping >_> There's probably a whole lot more to the issue of that scenario but you get the drift...

I'm about 181cm tall I reckon and I weigh somewhere between 65-75kg (it fluctuates with my icecream intake :P )
