Gothic.net Banner Exchange
We just wanted to point out that the new Gothic.net Banner Exchange is a great resource for cool and interesting sites that are looking for a network of other cool and interesting sites to share exposure on.
Lately, however, we have noticed that we have fifty+ new accounts where the exchange members have never actually put their own banners and links in to their account profiles. It is obviously difficult to give you exposure if you don't have a benner in the system. So, we thought we would open up a thread for people that might be having trouble getting set up or whatever.
Let us know if you have difficulties or questions and we will try to help you out as best we can.

I needx assistance with the ban ex. I registered a few days ago and have posted the banner on my website, as well as posted my banner to the ban ex section, but my ad has still not been approved. Is there anything I'm doing incorrectly?

So... what doesa guy have to do to get his banner approved? I think it's been a week now.

APS Banner Exchange
I was wondering how to go about doing a banner exchange. I'm looking to promote my forum-based game, called American Politics Simulation, and since I like this one I was thinking of placing a direct-link. So, suggestions? Thanks.

I did sign up for that.
The only thing is, I managed to put the code for that on only ONE of my pages. If I use my main page, which is hosted by GoDaddy.com, the code won't show up on there for love or money! I tried and tried but I must be doing something wrong. On the other page I put it on, which is the "feedback" page to the main page ( www.kittysjewelry.com) which is hosted by Yahoo, it works just dandy. I don't know why that is. I am very sorry about this. This is a small home business that my husband and I have for the jewelry I make and we do not have the big money it takes for advertising. We could really use the exposure via your banner exchange program and we're glad you have something like this.

Pretty much in the same position as some of the previous contributors to the thread.
I added my banner to the exchange and have reciprocated with the appropriate code but the banner remains unapproved. I know there may be a problem with hosting the image on Photobucket but would prefer to know if that is a major stumbling block or whether we can develop a workaround.
btw, this looks a very well constructed board. Some very nice features.

Although I don't know which account is yours, PhotoBucket is not something that should be used to serve your banners. They just show up broken most of the time. If your account has broken banners during approval review, it's easy to understand why it may still be in the que.

Hi, I have a banner in the banner exchange waiting for a few weeks for approval. I don't mind too much because the impression count is growing to quite lofty heights, but just wondering...
