Te'Kajo (ViNce)

This could very well be the first thread i've actually created. i feel so fucking special.
To celebrate, i think i'll take the following questions seriously this time.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
For fun i take apart old outdated computers (1992-2001 models) and piece together all the best parts to create a decent machine so that i can then install a wide variety of Linux Operating Systems on the new FrankenPuter.

i like to create music using Buzz, as well as write poems, and read books.

The only television i make a point to watch is anything on History Channel or any of the Discovery Channels (Discovery Times, Science, Travel).

As for a job, i am currently unemployed.

2. Where are you from?
West central Louisiana about ten miles from the Texas border. Very rural. i do have a certain affinity for the place, i like solitude and you can get plenty of it here if you wish. There are still some racial tensions that are left over from the "olden days" that i hope will be weeded out soon.

3. Who is your favorite author?
That is a hard question to answer and i think i'll take the easy way out. Stephen King. (Which i do love, but i have many favourites)

4. What are your favorite films?
The Exorcist; The Matrix trilogy; The Lord of the Rings trilogy; Tombstone; The Godfather I, II; and Forrest Gump.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
i honestly don't know. Maybe something by Chopin.

6. At your funeral?
Apocalyptica's version of For Whom The Bell Tolls

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
i am still on that waiting list to find out when someone discovers a vampire.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
i saw a Nascar themed one once that was rather interesting. If i should while i'm still cheering for Dale Jr, i'd like my casket to be painted like the number 8 Budweiser Chevrolet.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
i am not fashionably inclined. i like a pair of blue jeans, tshirt (sans holes), and black steel toe work boots.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
The first time i did this i said "innocence" which is still true, but i also miss the fact that mortality wasn't so much of an issue.

11. What's your favorite band?
Acid Bath

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
*Sigh*i've taken classes for the following majors:
Computer Information Systems (2yrs), X-Ray Technician (1yr), Aviation Electronics Technician (1yr), and Computer Specialist (1.5yrs). All those years of studying and no degrees.

i am currently thinking of saying screw any more school-based education and just get my A+ Certification.

13. Why did you join?
Basically, i joined because of a female. She didn't stick around, but since i like goths and was enjoying the literature here. Two years later, voila, still here.
------
Although, it's rare to see me post much personal stuff pertaining to my life and who i am, i am an open book. No question is too personal for me.

If you read this, then you are most likely a friend or just bored...or both.
i seriously don't like this new "Inro" structure.

Vin, it's been a delight to see you 'round the boards more often.

But I know where to find you if you're gone.

Since when do we make our own intro threads?? Shows ya how much I'm around lately.. blah..

If I knew how to drive and owned a car, I might end up on your door step one day, Tek. Just for the hell of it.
Be thankful I don't drive or own a car..

I drove one Sunday from Houston to Lake Charles just so I could say I had visited Louisiana, and I tried some jambalaya but it was dried out and sticky and sucked. Wish I had bought a 'gator skull whilst I was there to hang in my work cubicle.

Welcome back man.

Sticky sucky jambalaya...man i feel for you. Next time make a weekend trip out of it and go further east on I-10 to at least as far as Lafayette/Breaux Bridge. Best jambalaya i ever ate was actually cooked up here in non-Cajun Louisiana,
