I was investigating about gang influence in teens for a sociology project, and I found a site whose first question cracked me up.
If I see my son or daughter wearing colors or writing graffiti, does this mean he or she is a gang member?

They don't like teens in colors, they don't like teens in black. What the fuck?

Maybe they like teens in white. You know, kids, innocence, little angels... Ghosts...

Is it just me or are little ghost children in movies a combination of incredibly adorable and just a tad frightening?

Kids can't wear white, they get it all messy. Always, as if by magic, it gets stained and messy.

My English teacher can't be bothered to call anyone in our class by their names so he chose to call us by our favourite words. I'm Sparkly & I sit in a row with Diabolical, Splash & Frown....ho hum what an interesting day.

That sounds like an awesome teacher! If I was in your class, my name would either be Manslaughter (because vehicular manslaughter is two words so I had to shorten it, even though my favorite "word" would have to be vehicular manslaughter) or maybe something like Xanthe, because both are fun to say.

Yeah he's a pretty good teacher. He started speaking in random accents to make the lesson fun.

Haha, that teacher sounds like a laugh.

Last year, my friend had a sub art teacher for most of the year... Apparently, rather than learning the names of the kids in the class, she wrote down a few words to describe each person next to their name on the class register.
"David - short and fat"
"Amy - skinny slut"
"Paul - face like a pug"
...and so on, and so forth. Using your favourite words sounds a heck of a lot friendlier. :P

That sounds really cool, I wish I had teachers like that, what accents did he do ?

Wlesh, Irish & Birmingham. I used to have a history teacher who did pretty much the same thing, except he would wear funny hats too.

Yeah, I used to have the best German teacher ever. Some of the stuff he used to come out with was hilarious.
" Now is not the time to mastecate the cud!"
"Keine pillowtalk bitte!"
"It begins with F & rhymes with duck"

They were just a few of some of the best sentences.

My German teacher was a shrew. She HATED kids; put me off learning German forever. Your school sounds like it hires the teachers whose ambitions lie beyond bullying kids and collecting paychecks, which is quite enviable.

What country are you at, She_Is_My_Sin?

My Spanish teacher wanted to put a comment about me in the yearbook- "Eleanor, stop drawing!". The yearbook, due to our year's lack of interest, never appeared. So all was well.
Despite spending two years with a pen doing interesting things to my margins, and indeed other books, I managed an A in my Spanish. More than can be said for the girl next to me, who answered variously to her actual name, "stop applying your makeup!", "Take the earrings out", "Put the mirror away", "Put the phone away" and "What did I just ask?"

I'm down in the south of the u.k!

Well I kind of have a little thing for this guy in my new art class...when I was waiting outside the classroom, I caught him staring at my boots & I smiled politely at him. Then he chose to sit next to me. We didn't really speak except for "Uh...hey do you have a pencil sharpner?" "Um no sorry..." & "Do we use fine-line pens for this?" "Yeah...". He was looking at my hair & nose stud too...but I know this bitch in my history class has her eye on him too ugh!

But at least sixth form is getting better.

On the first day I just wanted to bang my head against the desk rather than do anything. But my friend who's moved school has a day off next friday so she's coming over to visit us.

I actually left school this year... I feel so sorry for all you folks still stuck in there, haha. My main memory of school is the 10-foot steel gates with razor wire at the top.
I'd be doing my final year at school this year if I'd stayed, but college is much more appealing.

What are you planning on doing when you finish school? College, uni, job...?

It;s only the first day of school and I am SO stressed, not only do I juggle two honors classes, my regular classes, and extracurricular, but this intense SAT class too. I bought a new pair of boots to cheer me up, which isn't good but whatever. Being a Senior sucks.
