My screen name? It's actually a long story. But I'll cut to the end. It became my art signature (back when I was constantly drawing, or actually drawing...) but I dropped it when I moved to CA. When showing off my awesome (okay..mediocre) drawings I kept getting asked what M.O.C was. After countless explaining people started calling me Crow (only when drunk though... well except my Grandpa, but he called me that because I reminded him of his pet raven...). So it just kind of came back. Then I joined here and I decided, if I was going to be posting my art or works on here, might as well have my sig.
So, the long part of the story is how it became my art signature... which no one cares and I don't really care all that much to explain it. So...meh.
Edit: WTF, actually read the posts and was thinking, who the hell are all of these people. Then I realized the last post was from 2008 (for the exception of the new people.) Seriously?! It's not even a good thread to necro! You know what... whatever.

This is a good thread to necro because it is a merged thread of other sn threads. So when this hydra floats down the line folk (newbs) won't have to look as far to find it. The thread being easier to find is a greater deterrent against another redundant thread.
Also: I have been in the archives. I wanted to post. Is it so wrong? It is a good thread. A universal thread.

I'm bored so......my screen name came from my actual name and the name of the mountain where the base of operations is in Stargate SG1. It's really just my name rearranged with extra letters thinking about it.

I actually live at the base of Cheyenne mountain. I can see NORAD from my work and my house.

I used to work with a girl who's nickname was fruitbat, because she was tiny, had black hair and only ate fruit but was a mad keen cyclist and would cycle everyday up a bloody big hill.
So I liked her nickname and I borrowed it for the internet. Plus fruitbats are cute.. although I like microbats better.
If I were to come up with a username it would be something like "fluffytowel" or "shoe" or whatever I was looking at while trying to think up a nickname to join a forum.
And can you imagine joining a goth forum calling yourself fluffytowel?

From now on I'm totally going to call you fluffytowel (and by from now on I mean for the next hour or so until I completely forget).

You should go over there and visit stargate command:P.. just checked and unfortunately at the moment public tours are not available. But when they become available ask to see the door to stargate command.

It's really boring, actually.

Besides, I'd rather see something like the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall.

Yeah but it has McGuyver in it, he can build you a plane trip to the Vietnam memorial out of ducktape, coat hangers, two bicycles, a needle, bowl, and a wine cork.

This username? I only use it here on G-net, on other forums I use limbonic_art. However, its a much more recent nickname. Back in 2007 this name sounded cool to me, and I used it for a few years.
