New Song Lyrics: World Made Of Stone

I wear my heart on my sleeve
In a world made of stone
We're all decked in our armor
But we're still so alone
I know it's wrong to fight wars
With my heart in my hand
But what good is this life
If we don't know to stand
We fear a beautiful death
And bear scars of a thousand
But what good is this life
When every soul is an island
Isn't it better to risk it all
On uncertain circumstance
Instead of holding to dividers
As a means to an end

I'm not feeling it.

Particularly this:
"We're all decked in our armor
But we're still so alone"

The "but" makes it seem like you feel wearing armor would unite people, but armor is a lonely image already, so it doesn't make sense.
