Possible Treatment for Ebola
I thought this was pretty cool. It seems that scientists have created a treatment for Ebola, which is a really nasty hemoragic fever that is most often deadly.
It is still in the animal testing stages, but I thought it was super awesome that they've finally made some headway with it.

Yay! I remember some years ago when I was a little kid while watching PBS I was scared to death by a special they did on Ebola. It takes 10 days for it to kill somone, with an extremely low chance of survival, but not before making you bleed out of every orfice in your body.

Actually it can kill in 24 hours. You don't bleed per-se - what happens is the virus is literally eating and breaking down your internal organs, they become liquefied and then run out of every orifice of your body.
