I've been out joyriding, picking up a few DVD's and video games, and looking for Mother's Day presents. And the whole time I was listening to the first album by Spanic Boys. Man, that's some fine music!

Mother's Day?

When's that with you? We have it the second week of March over here.

Hey, spookypurple, have I mentioned I like your avatar. I think I remember you saying once that it's a picture of you. If so, nicely done!

Thanks for the info. My mum once got in a right old strop because my eldest brother 'forgot' Mother's Day, and got even more annoyed when a card turned up a couple of months later. She didn't realise Mother's Day isn't ties to a date globally like Christmas!

And as for the avatar - thank you muchly, kind sir.

You know how to make me blush, don't you?!

Actually, she complained about my taste in music through most of it until she heard his version of "Redemption Song" that he did with The Cheiftans and then decided that perhaps she "could tolerate it"

Well, here's to whatever works. I like that version myself.

Actually, now that I think about it, I've heard many different renditions of that song. And I've never heard a bad version of it.

Neither have I actually. Hell, come to think of it, even -I- manage a decent redition of the song, and my voice scares people.

On that note, however, I'm off to bed by midnight my time in hopes that I will, firstly, actually sleep well and, secondly, that I will do well on my Anthropology final tomorrow.

Here's my two cents of randomness:
In my opinion, one of the most interesting sounding, yet fairly useless, word in the Latin language is 'polyspaston', which means crane (the mechanical kind)

Xng, I agree, people find the strangest things funny when they're tired. When I was tired when I was younger, someone just had to say 'box factory' and I would start laughing very hard for no reason whatsoever.

~shrug~ I was just hoping Mael would change his mind. Apparently nothing I said matter. Still exhibiting he could post on this for years and years and probably never make a dent with me.

Mmm. Understanding the paradox of wanting to help others when helping yourself is insanely impossible. Used to easier talking about wanting to live when had my own place and good job and prospects for the future.

The last couple years, been going to school, built up a small saving and life has been so boring can't remember kind of fun.

All I can say to someone is be nice to your parents, because at least then you have food and shelter. If no parents be nice to people you're living with. Find things to do to help out and earn your keep.

Not the best advice, but better than living on the streets. Better advice than saying maybe some people really shouldn't have been born.

Hi Benny-Boi!
Hi back atcha, my lovely Wolfie!

On the occasion of my 2000th post, surely a most momentous occasion, I'd like to comment on the importance and significance of my 2000 contributions to this place.

er ... um ... well, after we factor out the silly, the profane and the vain, there must still be a good 1000 posts of significance to celebrate. Eh, I guess I need to drop the posts to "whining" and "wtf".

But still, a very important 800 posts to be sure ... oh, I forgot to remove the "word association" entries. Well, surely the remaining 300 posts are worthy of ...

oh, never mind!

You know, this isn't anywhere near as exciting as 1000 posts was. But then, my 36th birthday wasn't anywhere near as cool as my 18th either!

Well, all I can say is THIS!

.

Congrats on the 2,000 Ben baby!!!

There's nothing wrong with questioning your sexuality, but remember, you already promised me I'll be your prom date next year

Queenofdarkness57: Do what you want to, if it feels good and no one gets hurt.

Godslayer Jillian: Don't do what you want to, because it doesn't feel good and someone will get hurt.

That is all.

Oh, I don't want to die, don't worry, I just have this thing where I always find a lot of ways to die or to torture with the most common things, but it freaks me out.
