Where did you get the idea that shaving down there is painful?

Well of course if you start slicing and dicing like your chopping celery, I'm sure THAT would hurt. But just shaving the skin isn't painful at all. You need to be careful, just like you do when shaving anywhere. But there isn't pain involved with the hair removal unless you are using a REALLY dull razor. Then your scraping the hair off, and that just sucks.. o.0

Um ... at the risk of giving Geisha more ammo, I'll jump in here.

I've done it ... not all the time, but sometimes. It's not painful in any way, although you are damn skippy certain to move carefully with a razor in that area.

Concerns are the same as for women shaving their privates ... and when the stubble starts growing back in, talk about itchy!

There's only one real reason to do it: Because she pays better attention to you during her oral ministrations when you are clean shaven. Most women I have known have liked sucking cock, and every one of them likes the whole area shaved.

I feel the same way about women, by the way. I know it's a big bother to maintain, but a clean shaven pussy is just so much easier to explore and completely tongue-lash!

Do you use a good shave gel when you do it?

That makes a big difference for me.

But I shave just about every day, and have for a loooooooong time so I think I'm just used to it by now. Skintimates makes a decent moisturized shave gel that I like using, its very silky soft.. Feels nice down there.. *Hee Hee*

Plus being bare, also makes ME so much more sensitive.

I also moisturize the skin afterwards to prevent razor burn..

There is nothing quite like tongue on bare skin..

I can't shave down there with a wet razor, as I get the same problem as Xng - painful regrowth and ingrown hairs

But I've found that an electric shaver doesn't irritate my skin half as much and shaves nearly as close!

Of course, your boyfriend might raise an eyebrow at your regular disappearances into the bathroom and the loud buzzing noise that emerges...

Maybe some people have better technique than me, or something. I always used a fresh razor, but it always hurt the next day.

If you use neosporin on the area most prone to irritation just after shaving and for a couple days afterward it helps to prevent ingrowns and red bumpies
