From up on Poppy Hill. It wasn't my favorite Studio Ghibli film but it was enjoyable and it was beautiful. This is the first Ghibli film that I've had the joy of seeing in a theater and I'm really, really glad I did because the god damn was it gorgeous.

From Up on Poppy Hill
You are lucky that you got to see that in at the theatre. I saw it with a club from a neighbouring college campus. It is a beautiful story, and the scenes are breathtaking.

Rabbit Proof Fence. I'm Australian myself so that film kind of hits home that "my grandparents or great-grandparents could've supported something like that" and to be honest, that is NEVER a good thing to think when you're watching something like RPF.

I last watched "Noroi - The Curse" (Japanese film). Few horrorfilms really scare me but this one actually gave me nightmares. :S

Pacific Rim was absolutely everything I wanted it to be. A+ would recommend.

Yeah, Pacific Rim was great. Gullimero Del Toro is a great director.

Sorry to necrothread, but I had to bring out watching the film "Solomon Kane" since it's an awesome sword and sorcery flick that takes place in England ca. 1600 CE. Granted, I'm biased since Kane's a Robert E. Howard character and I'm a big fan of the North Texas author, but rarely are origin films this entertaining and so true to the source material.

Wes Craven's "The People Under The Stairs".
Somehow missed out on this one until now. Pretty good, especially by Netflix standards! XD

Not really the last one I watched, but the last one I really, really like that much.
Watch "Shelter" (supernatural thriller) - in the US the film is called 6 souls.
Last movie(s) I watched Police Academy 1-5.

I loved the movie also It was amazing and sad too. French horror is amazing. Also, I heard they're making an english version of this movie. If that happens I really hope that they at least do a good job. I heard Kristen Stewart was almost going to be in it, but thankfully she's not going to be. I do like her though, but I feel that if she were in the movie it wouldn't be good. But yeah, if it is remade and whenever it comes out I hope it will be good. But it will never be as good as the original.

1st season of Hannibal. Don't know how I feel about it - 'torn' would fit right now.

Suck. Not the first time I watched it. Got me in to Burning Brides, though.

Love Akira Kurasawa, although I like "The Red Beard" and "The Magic Fortress" better. But still, this one was good.

and this one, I'm addicted to:

If you can't get them on H*l*, try going on OVG*ide. Otherwise, the movies are Dodes'Ka-Den, by Akira Kurasawa, and Kwaidan, which is a collection of vignettes of Japanese ghost stories. I've been raving about Kwaidan for eons.

"Les Visiteurs Du Soir", "Wings of Desire" and a charming little movie called "A Brand New Life."
Correction: The Kurasawa movies are "Red Beard" and "The Hidden Fortress."
Haven't seen Frozen yet, but have seen the previews. Looks cute.
Is "The Tunnel" anything like "The Bridge"? Been watching the Swedish version of that. Absolutely addictive.
