Than I lost. We don't celebrate it.
We have another holiday in which we can dress up, but it doesn't have this scary-dark side to it.

I'm going to a friends party as a grave digger. I still need a Top hat, a lantern and a shovel.

I bet that's going to be an awesome costume.
I'm going as a "woman in white". You know, the stereotypical bride ghost. I've just got to do some practice runs with the face makeup to make sure it looks good. If I can't get the costume together in time, though, I'm just going to use last years and go as a victim from the Salem Witch Trials. Got the colonial outfit and rope at the ready. Got a possible party on Halloween night as well as a party two days after at a friends house since she works on Halloween.

Looks like I'll be putting my house on the route for local Trick or Treating, just as an excuse to buy a shitload of candy and decorate the house, and perhaps create a larger following for this totally un-Australian tradition.

I've been thinking of being Morticia. I have long hair which I can dye black, and I have a long velvet dress that I could sew floaty material to.
Last year I was GoGo from Kill Bill. I even made a duct tape mace. It was fun.

I would love to go as Elvira one year, but I lack the bust.
