I was really trying to convince myself to stay at Gnet.
I cannot stand the constant trolls and whatnot.
I know that I don't contribute often (or at all, really) but I do lurk. When I first came here I liked what I read. But now it is just friggin insane and I kind of hate coming here now only to find mindless posts by people.

I enjoy a lot of what some people have to say around here but the rest is just pure shit, to me.
I like it here enough that I don't want to leave but somedays it just makes me want to say FUCK IT and go.

Most of public forums of Trends are like that, nothing new really, when a thing gets popular there will be a lot who will try to dirt it, pretty normal.

Adapt in my opinion.

Its turning into a long winded joke that isn't going anywhere anymore. Some things were genuinely funny, like Despannan robbing Gothicus of his Jew gold, but now this is the last forum I check when I'm surfing, I got other forums that I got for actual debates and conversation, and here just for a chuckle or two before I turn the computer off.

The trolls just keep pouring in of late and I am getting really sick of the constant aggression towards everyone, Necro, Sanguine and Uni included, and I am guilty of some of that aggression as well. It's just not funny any more, and I feel bad for what I've done no matter how much they annoyed me at the time.

I apologize for my contributions to the stagnation of this place as a forum.

Cen0, I can totally relate. It´s getting really bad. I come here out of habit more often than not these days. But there are still some threads that I´ve thought were interesting - and there are certainly people here whom I truly admire and like. I´ve got Gnet to thank for a lot of things, I guess... friends, more- than- friends, memories. Yeah. </sentimentality> Anyway, leaving or taking a break from the place is totally your own decision. I´ve been taking breaks from time to time myself, silently. Do whatever feels right, dear. I won´t blame you.

That doesn't stop Necro or Duane from "contributing". Not a good pair of examples i know but still...you get the idea.

Taking breaks is good though. At some point just about every member of Gnet has come to the conclusion that they need a break. Except for Alan...i don't think he's ever done so.
