Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

Anyone else here like Darling Violetta?

I'm only asking because I love their music however for the most part the band is unknown to anyone of who I talk to about it. One of the main contributing factors is that they haven't made an album in 10 years. Anyway, am I the only remaining fan?

I had a listen, interesting.

Kind of reminded me of the Laughing Mothers for some reason even though they don't sound that alike. Maybe because I got that recommendation from people that reminded me of this place.

Oh, totally forgot;
Quote:
Two songs were performed by the band in the episode "Faith, Hope & Trick" of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (season 3, episode 3), "Blue Sun" from Bath-Water-Flowers and "Cure" from The Kill You EP. The following year, the band, with producer Holly Knight, composed and recorded the theme for Angel, the spinoff series from Buffy.

Darling Violetta's song "I Want to Kill You", produced by Holly Knight, from The Kill You EP was licensed by Activision for their game, Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption. They also contributed another song to the Masquerade Universe which was in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines entitled "Smaller God" from the album Parlour.

If anyone here is too lazy to look them up and single out one of their songs, this one happens to be another personal favourite.
