"The Dark Knight" (again - it never gets old) ... but this was the first time watching it on Blu-Ray on the 47" screen WITH my surround sound system set up. Home theater goodness!

King of the Gypsies

I give it 3.5 stars. It's like The Godfathers... but with a cast of Gypsies.

The Room, with Rifftrax! It was every bit as glorious as I remember it to be.

The Sicilian, it was a horrible adaptation of the novel. It held very little impact and the character developments were careless resulting in weak and unappealing characters.

The Machinist. I enjoyed it despite the fairly predictable story behind his madness. I can't believe how skinny Christian Bale had to be in that! I like skinny but that's far too thin even for my liking, he looks borderline anorexic >.<

Tropic Thunder, with my brother. It's like having my own personal Rifftrax. Even better when we both love that movie. I still want to watch Twilight with him, just so we can rip it to shreds.

Synecdoche, New York. Overall, interesting, but disappeared so far up its own postmodern asshole it was pretty much fucking its own mouth by the final scene (which, by the way, had me tying a noose and left me feeling empty, nihilistic and lethargic - I can't decide if that's good or bad).

Loved it visually, but the plot was lame.

Sherlock Holmes

Robert Downy Jr. was pretty good, but after seeing Repo Men, I kept expecting Dr. Watson to use a stun gun on Holmes and extract from him, a mechanical organ of some sort that he failed to make payments on.

Videodrome. Again.

A good movie to watch for a bit of relaxation.

I saw Kick Ass too, it was pretty good. The girl who played Hit Girl was amazing, she really stole the show.

I agree, Hit Girl was what made the movie for me.

I saw The Handmaid's Tale. It was alright, in the "movie you watch in class after you read the book" sort of way. Obvious budget problems but within their limits they did a really good job.

I saw Avatar. It was beautiful. But the plot pissed me off.

Waltz with Bashir, saw it last night and I haven't stopped thinking about it all day; definitely the best movie I've seen in quite a while.
