Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Free Goth Music: The Return of Get Dead
Get Dead is a blog that I maintain. It offers completely free downloads of full gothic rock albums. After a long hiatus, it has returned to its former glory with a vastly underrated piece of music... Human Drama's "The World Inside".

Your download links are broken, FYI.

Hope to see some more uploads in the future, good album by the way.

I'm generally interested, Drac. There's a TRUCK load of new members who are total n00bs at the whole goth thing. For real. And they're just as active, if not more active than the regulars here.

I like these Human Drama people. I'm going to have to further check them out. Thank you for putting it up, Drac.

Any chance you'll rehost the previous albums Draconysius? I know it'd be a lot of work, but some of the albums you have on there are pretty hard to get.

Also, you people let me know which old albums you want re-uploaded.

Excellent, I was hoping you would start this up again.
I hadn't heard of either Human Drama or Brotherhood of Pagans but I'm really enjoying both albums, thanks.

Frickin' awesome, thanks Drac.
I'd never listened to a Rozz interview before, his normal speaking voice is a bit different than I expected..

The time has come for a new album. This time, it's Dark Side Cowboys with "Disclosure".
http://getdead.blogspot.com
A very impressive album indeed. Everything from cabaret to ambient is played with on this release, layered with a style gothic rock that reminds me of Clan of Xymox at times. I rather enjoy it when artists evolve on a genre, while still managing to retain their own unique sound. This is one of those cases. The name of this band gives one the impression they're just another Fields of the Nephlim clone. This couldn't be further from the truth. On the contrary, this is some of the most original goth I've heard in years. Be sure to turn the volume all the way up on "Creation". You'll know why.

I say! Draconysius, I recommend Qntal if you don't know of them already. They're electro-medieval. They make me think of Dead Can Dance with some electronic instruments thrown in. I like them muchly
