I'd like to note for the benefit of WolfMoon that the sarcastic Symphony In Blue outfit above is similar to what I wore to the last Type O show. Only there was beautiful blue "hair" ( http://www.black-and-blue.net/mermaidfalls.html ... see also - photo to the left!) and turquoise GLITTER in my lipgloss for that event ...
Yes, I very much intended to go 'gainst the grain. Hee. Nope - nobody else remotely looked like that ...

look, i dunno if these have already been posted, or if they belong in another thread.. or even if anyone has any interest. i just got up a little while ago. i have a headache and am in a general bad mood. i checked my e-mail, and found someone had forwarded these to me. now.... i keep my $0.02 to myself on this whole iraq thing.... every bit of it. but.... i really wanted to share these, because... well, You take something from it, ok?

Suiside Kitty thanks for those pics, they remind me of the fact that decent peoples lives are being put at risk in Iraq. Well being below voting age, I can't see exactly what I can do, but I'll find someway of helping 'la resistance' :P seriously though I should start being more politically active, and I don't mean by posting labour leaflets, God thats boring :cry:

Thank you Suicide Kitty... but honestly I don't think it's bravery... I just do what I can... Simple thinking... If I start doing brave things I might do something stupid and get somebody killed...
Contrary to some beliefs we are here to save lives... not take them... I am here because of my ideals, kids, friends and cats... some of my friends happen to be Iraqi... To fight for a nation is far too much for any one man... To fight for a few people, a few things... thats something we all can handle... So I fight for a few... somebody else fights for a few more... and eventually hopefully we got everyone and everything covered but I'll not worry too much about that... I'll only worry about my few...

yes, exactly. thats what i wanted to point out.... i mean, yeah, you see those images they've been plastering all over our tv screens lately... and what? that means there are a few total dumbasses out there... and blah blah blah.... but you just have to remember.... there are More decent people there, fighting for what they believe in. these are not just nameless faces... these are peoples children, peoples brothers and sisters... these are fathers and mothers...... it's just almost too much to think about... i know everyone has their own opionion over this whole thing... and i can totally respect that. but.. opionions aside.... these are lives on the line. these are people who have people who care about them, love them, miss them and await their return. these people have lives... family... thoughts, hopes.... i don't know. like i said earlyer, i've been trying to keep my $0.02 to myself.... but, those pictures got to me, ok? i have alot of respect for alot of the people out there.
and Gypsy.... thank you for responding.... the world could use more people like you. i admire you greatly.

I'm not going to start spewing my political opinions, but I hope all of our soldiers are safe... and I hope they will be home with their families as soon as possible. Those pictures are really touching.

thats a very very old hat...its been lying in my room since i was born. That was the first time i decided to take it out. I woke up feeling very weird so i put weird stuff on...the shirt is my fathers :roll:
