I saw some straaaaange folk when I lived in Southern California, and all of them made me feel better for -not- being high-fashion. ;] Heatherette and Jawbone I've never heard of, but they sound ridiculously expensive for whatever they are.

That being said, Apathy's right; it -doesn't- take a lot of talent to be a model. It takes a lot of work to keep one looking a certain way, but not really a lot of talent. [See "Next Top Model" for details.]

Uni: First, no one said that Lepore did any physical harm to anyone. We've only given our opinions on her...er, style...and commented on how we percieve her. Hell, even if this was a straight chick who'd never had surgery going around looking like that and singing about how much they love their woman parts, we'd still have the same opinion!

I'm not going to treat someone differently just because they are trans. If they don't look good, then they don't look good, no matter -what- surgeries they've had/not had.

If LGBT folk want equality, then they might as well get used to both positive AND negative critiques on their looks just the same as everyone else does.
