Hello,

Mind telling us a bit more about yourself? There's a sticky with a list of questions if you need a place to start.

Ah... found the sticky.

Thirty-ish female... pioneered the Goth look at my high school back in 1995-6 much to my teachers' chagrin, love scary movies like Ju-On and Ichi the Killer.
Into EBM and IDM, with some tech-industrial thrown in... I like to use elipses.

Just want to make some friends and enjoy the boards...

Thank you, SoD...

Quick newbie question--how many posts do I need before I can add a signature?

You never told me you liked Ichi the Killer. I'll ask you to marry me if you want.

Ichi's a fantastic cult film that I strangely enough discovered on /b/tv (back when /b/tv existed). I only saw bout 10 minutes of the film, but it stayed with me, so I downloaded it from Veoh, and then purchased it shortly thereafter. I love showing it to people who do not know what they're in for.

I haven't given them much of a listening to, and no time recently. I have a terrible internet connection, so my music bank is severely limited.

I, personally, love Front Line Assembly, especially their "Total Terror" cassettes. Great great stuff.

Pioneer the Goth look at your school, I've always wanted to give it a shot at mine, no one knows yet.

Well, I dyed my blond hair black, bought a couple bondage collars and started wearing all black-including black makeup. Lipstick, nail polish, etc.

I also started wearing fishnets and black nylons on my arms. DO NOT GO TO HOT TOPIC for these... buy a pair of $3 black nylons, cut out the crotch, make finger and thumb holes in the toes and put it over your head like a shirt... underneath your shirt. Nice and easy.

That's how I did it.
