This is by no means difinative, but here's my list:

"Goth" bands I've heard that I like in no particular order:
Bauhaus
The Cure
Swtichblade Symphony
Depeche Mode
Gene Loves Jezebel (hey, they're on one of my goth compelations so I guess they count)
There's more but the list did call for 5 so...
