We don't celebrate Halloween over here " 'cause it's evil".
The people in my town are highly superstitious and over religious.
I did once dress as Fatman(from Freekazoid) at a costume party, I put a lot of work into that costume. Unfortunately no one even knew who I was supposed to be.
I did get a few comment thought(this one guy kept calling me "Man-boobies").

We don't really do Halloween here but we do have "Spring in the Valley" coming up. It's a big thing where all the local wineries have tasting (cheese, wine etc) and mobs of people get dressed up in costumes and go around to each one. It's pretty hectic but a bloody fantastic day out. I can't wait, I'm going as a pig. We're hiring a bus and our theme is animals this year.

I know I am reviving an old thread, but now it's closing in, and I need some advice on my costume.
I am thinking of going as an alternate character that could've been in the universe of Legacy of Kain.
I am gonna dress up in black with some boots, a red cape that is able to cover my face, talcum in my face and wielding a foam replica of the Soul Reaver.
I am gonna claim this character as the originally destined wielder of the Soul Reaver before the time lines were twisted to oblivion, thereby making it the destiny of Kain.
I am gonna put on gloves where I gather two fingers in each glove finger except the thumb to give the illusion of an aged vampire from Legacy of Kain.
This character will fit in fine as Kain was originally destined to slaughter all of the Nosgoth Guardians only to sacrifice himself in the end to restore balance.
When this did not happen as destined, Kain screwed with Destiny for the first time.
Changing past events further screwed up the timelines. Sparing the wraith Raziel from imprisonment in the Reaver only to have the Reaver shatter later further screwed with it.
Going back in time to long before his birth to re-obtain the Reaver created another paradox.
A lot could suggest that Kain was not inteded to ever wield the Reaver as the prophecies foretold the hero would. It is true that he obtains it before he was supposed to die at the Pillars of Nosgoth, so naturally, a destined wielder must've existed. Speculation has it that this wielder is Raziel, but that cannot hold true as his soul is one of the empowerments of the Reaver.
I did my studies on this :P
Thoughts anyone?

Oh, he does this all the time.
Anyhoo, I've decided on a costume and it'll be a tricky one:
http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Monday-Ki.../dp/1929998074 (That click to look inside doohickey and zoom in)
http://guttersnipemedia.files.wordpr...he_ants_11.jpg (Actual photo of him)
I've got a similar vest (I'd rather go black vest and white shirt) and skull pin but I need the tights, shoes, shirt, hat and gun. The skirt will have to be longer for work, the cape could be optional and there's plenty of white paint to be found for the face and ribbons for the hair.

Anyone else...what?
If you are trying to ask if anyone else would have said about the same thing if he hadn't already done it then yes, I have no doubt that many would have, myself included.

Sweet, so does zombie Billy Mays yell or are zombies too unemotional to maintain that constant level of excitement?

Right now I'm thinking either Lux Interior (in his honor) or American Psycho's Patrick Bateman. Or maybe a zombie, but that's just an excuse to break out my DiY haha.

So even though I planned to be yuki from vampire knight................I changed my mind and decided to just be a regular vampire........................I have my costume already...and I bought those cool realistic fangs. I know it's cliche but I've never been a vampire for halloween before and I think it would be a nice change from my alice and wonderland costume of last year.

We probably overdo Hallowe'en here. (Where my girl is, the kids are not allowed to Trick or Treat past the age of 10. I asked her, "How do they know?" I mean, do they have, like, Hallowe'en Police or something? And what would they bust you for if you were, say, 10-1/2? Embezzling candy?). Anyway, we have 90-year-olds who do Hallowe'en here, so we just give 'em treats and say, "Whatever." So, I'm working on my costume. If all else fails, I'll just combine the last two years (i.e. 2007's vampire + 2008's pirate = 2009's vampirate. I mean, how hard is that? A pirate with fangs? Right).
