Greetings droogs

Introduction first, seems appropriate...

Then I'll get to spreading my disease around the rest of the forums.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Primarily, music. Big thing for me. I also indulge my inner-nerd with World of Warcraft when time allows.

2. Where are you from?
Oh no, last thing I need are even more people camped out in my rose bushes.

3. Who is your favorite author?
Good lord, who knows anymore.

4. What are your favorite films?
Makes me wish I had 90% of my DVDs here...

Memento, Donnie Darko, Pirates of the Carribean, Fight Club...

Ah, the list would go on forever.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
If I were to get married, I'd have to be to god awful drunk for it to matter, anyway.

6. At your funeral?
Who dies nowadays? That's so 1990s.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Slit my wrists in the bathtub since I'm so misunderstood.

Really though, I have no idea. I figure I'll just hold off on the whole dying thing until I get that all figured out.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Comfy, yet stylish.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
On who?

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Kindergarten... nap time, people brought you milk and cookies... what more is there to life?

11. What's your favorite band?
Couldn't tell you. Changes almost daily, depending on mood.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
i kan rite teh good.

13. Why did you join?
Severe boredom.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Oh, sure, can't figure it out and now you just want the answer handed to you.

I don't think so. To easy.

Darkest... uh... whatever floats your boat.

I assure you that's simply my way of saying hello to someone who is also new.

I'm a touch quirky, but you'll get used to me.

I'm used to people who know how I am, so you'll have to excuse me.

Is something wrong with me? Lately I've been misinterpreting everything.

I apologize.

Welcome.

Feel free to just think me crazy if that makes you feel any better about any past or present misinterpretations.

So it would seem...

Perhaps I got off to a slightly twisted start, anyway. Truth be told I like to test the population first, in a way that probably only makes sense to me, as I've been to far to many boards populated entirely by complete idiots, in which case I don't even continue to bother posting on them.

I'm glad to see that for the most part this place is a tad different in that aspect, anyway.

So, perhaps, just perhaps, it will be worthwhile to put actual intelligence into posts from now on. Perhaps it won't be wasted here. (The reason why I initially don't bother, though due to severe boredom I still test what are usually the waters of stupidity.)

Some more about myself, since my initial post wasn't overly informative.

I am, despite some of my original posts, (first impressions, yeah, yeah, I know...) an intelligent person. One who has, over time, just become so very bored with 98% of the people that I meet, that I find them not worth the bother to put any effort into conversing with in any meaningful manner.

One unfortunate setback to myself is that over time, my memory seems to become worse and worse, starting a couple of years back. This would also be a big reason why my initial post wasn't overly informative. It's really very annoying.

"What's your favorite (whatever)"
Uh... (despite there generally being a vast wealth of information on the subject somewhere in my head) <blank>

Then about 2 hours later a most lenghty answer will come to me, usually after I see something that reminds me about the subject at hand.

Sigh...

Years ago, I was a romantic sort. I enjoyed being such thoroughly. Over time, and betrayals, that part of my slowly died away however. Now I find myself wondering if such a thing even exists anymore, or is even possible. Perhaps it was simply the company I chose. Or maybe it's because there isn't a place in this world for such a thing anymore. The world isn't a romance novel. This is because the world gets in the way. I do miss it, though I wonder if I'd even remember how to be that person again if the situation were right.

Nowadays, however, I find myself being a stubborn, strong-willed, hard-headed, don't-take-no-guff-from-these-fucking-swine type.

While I like who I am now, I miss parts of who I was once, as well. More than likely, that's why I chose the username that I did. Wulf was a nickname of mine long ago, and I like to remember that person every now and then, even if it's not completely who I am anymore.

I have to wonder if I make sense to anyone but myself at this point. And yes, sometimes I go off and just start typing out whatever thoughts are in my head at the moment, no matter how obsolete, or off topic from whatever subject I'm currently discussing they may be.

I'm sure I'll have more to say later.

Glad you came, Legacy. And I'm with you on every one of the films you listed.

Sorry to hear you're dead inside... that's gotta suck.

Movies... good lord... I started to remember all my old favorites earlier when I saw part of Clerks on some movie channel or another.

Clerks, Dogma, Chasing Amy, Mallrats to a slightly lesser extent. A Clockwork Orange. Full Metal Jacket.

So many movies I love...

Hmm, Dogma and A Clockwork Orange are the only ones of those I've seen. Both were, needless to say, beyond brilliance. Haven't seen Mallrats yet - the only other Kevin Smith movie I've seen is Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. 'Twas pretty funny in places, as mindless entertainment goes.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was basically a final movie for all the hardcore fans, primarily. If you're unfamiliar with the rest of his movies it loses something.

I highly recommend you see Clerks. His best movie in my opinion.

I was just gonna say welcome, but after reading your further comments, I think I have to make mention of one thing.

A person who is going to decry the idiocy that is rampant around the internet (and I agree with you) must know the difference between TO and TOO.

If you make commentary about the intellect and articulation of others while making this kind of mistake in the middle of the comment, prepare yourself for some ribbing.

But I agree with you about the general state of affairs out there, and I do think I'm going to enjoy your sense of humor. So, welcome to this place. I look forward to reading your further contributions.

If ever there was truth in the purity of indifference, I'm experienceing it currently. But chances are with time such a thing will change for the better... so for now... Just 'Hi.'
