I do a lot of things on my own. I can't say I'm a very independent person but I just like being alone and not being able to interact with other people. My friends think it's weird to want to be alone.

Well, I think it's because they're not used to the idea of loneliness for the sake of self-discovery. People in this country thinks that socializing is the best and only way to know yourself better.

If I don't get at least a couple of hours to myself a day, I get stressed! I love being around people, but I need my space too. Mornings are usually my chill time. It's half nine here in da UK, and I have work in a couple of hours, then my boyfriend gets back from work and we'll probably go and see his little boy (he's sooo cute!) then my friend's coming over in the evening and sleeping over tonight. If I didn't have these couple of hours by myself I couldn't enjoy the rest of the day. Right now I'm sat here in my dressing gown, looking a mess and eating sweets while I check email/type this/look at random crap on the net. Makes me happy, keeps me sane! :-D

I also need time to myself sometimes, or at least just some time with me and OH. If i go away doing charity work or whatever, I find that occasionally i just have to wander off bymyself as I don't like being in a group all the time.
Although I wouldn't want to be by myself all the time I am happy to spend a lot of time by myself and it doesn't bother me like it does some people. I like to just sit and read , although i read to quickly so can end up being expensive, so read a lot of classics at £1.25. Bargain. I also waste a lot of time on the internet at work when by myself, listen to music a lot, occasionally play the guitar but not often , or do arty things

Surf gothic.net and touch myself a la Metatron (not ALWAYS at the same time though), make a mess of my room, write emails to my friends back home, chat with people on msn (kind of alone), read, write and generally mooch around in pyjamas. I like to have a couple of hours a day to myself.
