This week it's been 5 years since Mum started her treatment for cancer. The doctors said that the risk of it coming back again goes down from now.
This makes me happy

I have a great new job ... I've only been there 6 weeks ... but I'm still having a hard time pushing myself out the door to go there.

I bid on an elf-head on e-bay. I had my max bid set at 15.00, when I looked this morning I was outbid.
Now, instead of going and bidding on the one that was still 10.50, I jumped the bid up to 20.50. Yeah, I'm smart. There goes my hair dye for the next two months.

Okay, so day one of Sanctus' new joby and what happens?? She knocks herself the fuck out!!! No seriously folks, I went down like a rot root tree in a wind storm. I worked an overnight shift then went straight to my day job, I was already sick and sleepy (head ache and serious stomach trouble) so for the first 2 hours of my shift they slap me in front of a pair of 400 degree head level toasting ovens, about an hour in I was dizzy... and about 25-30 mins after BAM 5-10 sec worth of unconsiousness. Nice huh? The GM and the co-worker walked me to the back office with ice water and made me sit for almost an hour (which I was annoyed with)... but I'm cool, save a nasty spot of road rash on the back of my hand.
Yay Sanctus!! Ya fucking wimp-ass pansy.

Hey baby, except for the embarassment, just consider it a battle wound! I've worked two jobs before, and near the end I think that kind of thing could have happened to me. An incident of falling asleep at the wheel for a moment convinced me to quit one of the jobs. So don't be too hard on yourself.
